Son of a mother f&#$*&! I don’t understand how but it happened! Some how a mouse or possibly a squirrel shit I don’t know something eat most of a male smh at least it left enough of him I can veg him some more and get him to grow back smh shit and get this they were inside my house my grandma past away last year and I just been putting them in her room for lights out and I went in this morning and it was just gone! One thing I can say is the dude was hungry because there was no little pieces on the floor or nothing ate every bit smh I didn’t see that coming I figured it was the deer I had to worry about outside! Not in my F%**&n house! Dang! Lol
It’s a deer. A deer will bite through half of the stalk and then pull with its head, leaving a little strand. A Bunny will bite clean through because it has teeth on top and on bottom
It’s not funny that he got munched on, but it sure is funny how many critters like weed. My two little-girl schnauzers are bud snatchers and will eat a leaf in a cold-ny-minute.
I don’t think a small rodent could bite through that in one pass, which is what happened. Any sign of the stalk? Do you have pack rats out there? Pocket gophers? There’s 2 possibilities i guess. I suppose maybe a woodchuck could do that.
One thing is certain, and that is this critter wants sinsemilla lol.
Certain animals have teeth that are directly opposite each other and they can bite clear through something( bunny). Other animals have top and bottom teeth that don’t lineup, like ours. ( deer)These animals bite through most of the stalk, and then use a pulling motion with their heads to finish the job.
No sign not even any little pieces, gone . Possible pack rats or squirrels our house is in an old growth hickory Grove the attic is full of squirrels idk but I’m going to put a litter box in there and I’m going to buy some of that garden repellent stuff Ive seen before
I’ve seen packrats take whole plants. I didn’t know they existed East of the Rockies. If they live by you, that’s my guess. Squirrels…I don’t think could, or would do that…but anything is possible. I’m glad you were left a little nub.
Very nice. I love Hickory trees. Most are cut young here.
That’s hilarious and fascinating - it seems unlikely to me that an entire plant could be eaten by an animal/s without leaving any trace. It seems like it must have chopped it and then dragged it away as @Upstate suggests.
I’ll bet if you find their exit point you will find bits of fresh foliage and other plant stuff - it’s somewhere!
A little bukkake in the grow room? My pack just came in yesterday! I think 5 of em will be going into water tonight, and then dirt tomorrow. Can’t wait to see how they do in my 4’x8’ box outdoors! Thanks again for letting me join in man (I expect to say that a lot lmao)
