Picture from earlier today. Looks like we will have close to 20 good ones to play with. Would like to have seen more of them sprout but it still should be a good run.

Yeah it’s gonna be cool. I can’t wait for the final results. I hope the beans turn out to be a great representation of the strain.

I had told @buckaroobonsai my trouble with the two packs of temple flo I’ve had. Being someone who enjoys the DJ gear and have run more than my fair share, there is several outliers as well as other things to take into consideration before doing a open pollination with these. As these are only a F3 generational seed, though not in a straight forward filial line. So look at it like a poly hybrid that needs refinement and contains many many mutants and other oddities, this is literally the building blocks to several of DJ lines.

Most flowers come out very wild and with the usual highland structure and taste. And to truely enjoy them must be selectively cataloged and pollinated, as the basis for these lines were to allow folks the chance at a backcross of genetics to concurrent lines. Or possibly make out a new one (think of the old sativa leaning blueberry of back in the day, these beans hold those genetics, the same genetics DJ used to make the new indica leaning blueberry)

Either way. Good luck and I will be following closely. Also will be making sure to relay photos to Josh and JD as well as DJ to hopefully be able to help guide you if you so chose to do a selective pollination

Many blessings

I’ll be glad to see what the fine short family has to say, it’s always good to have a keen and knowing eye, and DJ is quite a fan of checking out the findings of folks, even myself I take his sentiments, that he couldn’t ever grow as much as he wants to grow of the seeds he has made, so others growing and sharing the findings of what the plant hides allows for him to see things one normally wouldn’t see.

Only got 16 to go. Kinda bummed about the low germination rate. But 16 is what we will be working with in this seed run
