Had a few damp off and a few more never made it too see the light.
I can feel it your picks in there
I might be a bit over dramatic here with the picture but I really thought I would have better luck. It’s just when someone gives you beans @buckaroobonsai like this and it doesn’t turn out as expected it is disappointing.
It happens to us all from time to time.
I think everything is going great, that’s gonna be plenty to choose from, more would have been better but … this is the hand we’ve been dealt for a reason.
Yup the strongest ones survived. Now it’s time for these to get growing!
Looking good @Kavman!! Full steam ahead!! Tell us more about your flo cut or do you have a thread about that I can reference? Good luck with this preservation run!!!
Looking for advice/recommendations for breeding a 25 year old cut of DJ’sFlo Here’s the original thread dude @BuckeyeBeanz
Big ups @buckaroobonsai!! Much obliged and thank you for the generous donation for this work!
I had an entire pack not pop. Look like the same here. So same germ rate that I had from the two packs I ran. So your on par!!! Keep up the good work, the big thing will be allowing them not to get root bound to express. And DJ always suggest in flower to run 11/13. And to run 16/8 in veg.
Josh (Blue Star) does the same light cycles. I’ve recently switched over to those light cycles as well. Flowers set on about 5-7 days faster on the 11/13
I’m loving the healthy little ones and I think you’re doing a great job with so many young ones it’s a hard one to keep them all and no need to get bummed or nervous about the germination rate that’s not in your control and I hope that everything keeps going strong Happy Growing The Doc
Yes yes!!! I’m down for this one. Following along.

Thanks for your valued input. I really do appreciate it. I want this to be a huge success.
Thanks @DrGonzo13 I will do my best to not sweat things but it’s hard when people are watching. I will be doing my best.
That makes sense as they are my last ones to start flowering outdoors. But when they do they take right off.
@buckaroobonsai @Enjoi802 the beans showed up a day early and were in the mailbox for three hours in the heat. I immediately opened the package and the seeds packaging was very warm. Probably not a desirable thing either.
That’s right…. I didn’t even think about that.
I’ve had hit or miss results with my DJ gear. One time around I had so much damping off it was a real bummer. Other times around they were much better. I know the feeling and it’s not that fun. I’m stoked that you got a bunch to go! The universe puts us where we need to be and for whatever reason those are the plants that were supposed to pop up!
I like to think that the ones that didn’t make it were plants that wouldn’t have paired well with your project, so to say, the universe helping with the choice selection for a wonderful pairing to your vintage Flo. Wishing you the best in your efforts and project. Much love
And I’m always worried about seeds sitting in a hot mailbox for longer than they have to. I’m always looking down the street to see if the mailman is close multiple times a day. It’s the “seeds are coming today” dance. It’s always so exciting too. Really enjoying watching your project progress. Temple Flo! This is the good stuff! Much love
