Man, you’ve got all the gems! Very nice! The first two are 100% on the must obtain list. But they all sound great! I’d be willing to trade for any you are willing to part with

When is the next full moon?? It’s pop seed on the full moon and chop plants on the new moon right? Or is it the other way around?

Ive never heard that for chop but I believe it is the full moon for germination.
Will give that a go when i take down my Twenty20’s

I got it wrong I think, it’s harvest on the full moon too:

At least according to mean gene. I thought at least initially that it had to do with the new moon essentially providing a longer dark period for the plant, similar to leaving an indoor plant in the dark for 24-48hrs before chop, but I guess I was wrong. Happens often :v:t2:

MeanGene is skilled at what he does but I think this article explains the process much better.

Dr Bruce explains why the dark period before harvest is pointless myth.

I don’t want to derail this thread away from Copa too much but FCP2 has a really nice video on “Photoperiodism” that goes in depth into how many μmol/s a plant will detect to stop florigen production.
There’s some interesting light cycles I’d like to try in veg to see if I can almost halve my electricity bill in that area.
