Besides the center stem, there are bunches of smaller buds branching out from it, right? they’re coming out real nice! Only soil, no training…? Congrats!

I’ve never grown an auto before. I’d like to try if still available

I had to attend some plants that had bugs.

I made a mix of:

  • dishwasher soap
  • vinegar
  • tap water
  • hot spicy oil

I can say they are ok , the plants and the bugs have gone. Can’t really say amount of each ingredient but. …

These days autos can be as tasty as any other photoperiod.

It has been said that purple varieties of weed usually are a little less powerful than say the same strain but different green phenotype. Because the plant has to cope with producing anthocyanins rather than just thc and other cannabinoids

I’m glad that mix worked out for you @curiouscat. As long as it’s organic it’s fine by me. Just remember any chemical you put on a bud will go into your body no matter what time of year you put it on. I agree with autos tasting just as good as a photo plant. Honestly so far I have not had a bad tasting one. As far as color goes I don’t think that the purple variety that I grew earlier this summer is any lesser of a plant then say the greener ones

I have a few more seeds drying. I’ll let you know when there done. I think I have 20 left

I was referring to the same strain. Imagine two seeds from the same run, supposedly the one with more purples will have spent energy into making its colour darker, unlike the greener one that only had to concentrate it’s efforts into producing THC and all the rest. I’m not saying that purple is bad  if only I could remember the source of that information…

How is the potency on the autos? I still haven’t grown any personally.

I grew plenty when I worked at the greenhouse. Most of the potency wasn’t there with those plants. I keep hearing that autos can be just as potent though.

Hey badger. The potency in some of these autoflower phenos is really good. I think the good ones are up to par with most photos

Yo @corey do you still have some of those beans? I like running autos during the winter here in NorCal. I just put them in my garage if the weather turns and maybe add some lighting during veg!

This is @Sebring revenge f4. It’s a tough plant, went through a heck of a storm last week that demolished my biggest royal goo plant. This revenge has an awesome soft black pepper odor.
12 years ago I had a contact where I was getting smoke that had the exact same smell to it and I absolutely loved the buzz. I just hope that this plant is like that. I don’t know what part of the world these pepper genetics come from or really anything about this plant, but it smells great and stacking nicely. I harvested the grxcd, pic at the bottom.
