You do know that no matter how you die if you have Rona that’s your cause of death. Case in point in Louisiana headline read 1 day old dies of Corona virus. When you read the article you find that the baby was only 22weeks, that early and the baby has zero chance. It’s the leftist controlled media that’s driving this bullshit

Why is it that even when we are in the throws of this, that people still have to inject political baloney into the mix. People that still believe that this is an overblown hoax can do what they wish with their own lives…but to endanger others with ignorance is simply not acceptable.

Please take posts like this to the shark tank. We’re all trying to decide for ourselves what to make of the media, virus, etc. I’m not advocating either way, I just don’t want to see this thread derailed by fighting.

Not fighting with anyone, just putting the info out there that shows we are being lied to by the media, the ones that are supposed to give us info to make decisions with. You can’t make informed decisions with biased and or faked into.
Would you be happy if info given to you that was biased/false led you to make decisions that harmed you or your family? I know it would piss me off greatly. I find it odd everyone wants to be scared and seems to want incorrect info. Everyone was freaking out about Italy when that was doctored info as well

I totally understand and agree with this. I see it at work, with my family, etc. The stress of the virus, lack of work and being cooped up is putting people on edge. We’re all one tribe.

I can tell you I’m located in a hotspot and regularly communicate with the front line workers that I know. If one dies from COVID with comorbidities, COVID accelerated their demise and it is perfectly reasonable to be counted as such.
People are dying from this, they are in the ICUs, plenty of people are suffering in one way or another including those who aren’t even sick. This is particularly a problem for those caught unprepared.
Two nearby nursing homes within 2 miles of my location are being crushed as we speak and the national guard is on-site isolating and managing the situation.
We all know the media sensationalizes things for the clicks. We all know the politicians are corrupt as all get-out. But, there’s a flip side to this, those that minimize everything because of media “conspiracies” and political meandering appears little more than tone deafness to those actually in the midst of the problem.
This remains a real concern for many. Folk, please make your point but please don’t go overboard.

So you’re saying that them listing a premature baby as a Corona death or a suicide as a Corona death is perfectly fine and not misleading at all? It definitely skews numbers making this look more deadly than it truly is.
If you look at the graph of pneumonia deaths you see it’s pretty consistent until now. They are attributing many more deaths to this than it should have that’s for sure.

How many of those seasonal pneumonia deaths are attributed to the flu?
