I must gave read it wrong…Thanks for the clarification!
Alberta has more recovered than sick. Alberta has done a pretty decent job so far. Numbers are not as scary as I feared. That being said people are generally staying at home and practicing social distancing.

Not as much to report, that’s good.
I agree. Most reporting has a negative flair so it seem somewhat more positive the less there is. Hoping to see some leveling off in my area.
Stir crazy being in relative isolation.
WTF? MI and VT ban the sale of seeds because “non-essential”.
Remember this at the polls.
Isnt a threat to the food supply a perfect reason to call seeds essential lol
Pitchforks and torches.
She’s already under major fire because of this.

The Americans bought Alaska from the Russians in 1867 for $7.2
The problem in most of the USA is that many feel that they will return to “normal” life and routines when (they think) this will pass. These are the same people that refuse to consider that their actions could put others in harm’s way.
The permanent job loss alone will be staggering…worse than 2008, and robotics and AI will take over many jobs that once went to humans. Additionally many stores will maintain the limited hours as they figure out the savings achieved.
Bottom line…This is a 100 yr evolution that will take place in under a yr, and will be a total shock to our lives and thinking. The time to adjust and make plans for the future is now!
As has been the case following most calamities, many golden opportunities await.
TBH…The only major effect on me so far, has been the isolation…otherwise I made my adjustments to lifestyle over ten yrs ago when I retired, so the rest is as it was.
This has had no bearing on me either except for it claimed a good friend, possibly.
Will never know if it actually had the big if bearing.
It’s like ma nature going thru and taking the sick and weak.
But that’s the same as any flu
Almost sounds like an insurance company doing, cost less to end something than to having to keep treating.
Maybe I didn’t read it wrong?
" We’d like to clarify some of the information that has been shared. Our entire family had been ill for close to a month starting early March, but did not initially fit all of the criteria for COVID-19 testing. For that reason, we were told to self-treat at home unless the symptoms worsened. Charlotte’s symptoms worsened, so she was admitted to the PICU on April 3rd. She was treated on the COVID-19 designated floor using all of the medical protocols set in place. On Friday April 3rd, she was tested, the results were negative for COVID-19 and discharged on Sunday April 5th when she seemingly began to improve. Charlotte had a seizure in the early morning on April 7th resulting in respiratory failure and cardiac arrest. Seizures are not uncommon with illness and paramedics were called returning us to the PICU. Given our family’s month-long history with illness and despite the negative test results, she was treated as a likely COVID-19 case. Her fighting spirit held out as long as it could and she eventually passed in our arms peacefully.

For those of us in Massachusetts, Canada is everywhere
When we first emigrated to Canada, a couple of 2nd year university students from the US knocked on the door selling magazine subscriptions to help there money situation.
We talked for a while and inquired where my accent came from. So I said I was from the UK, one guy says is that next to Germany? The other guy said dont be stupid its next to Spain. LMAO I worry about the standard of education in the US, I had to draw them a map and point out the UK was an Island.
