A fourth U.S. case of the deadly new coronavirus that has killed more than 50 people in China has been confirmed in Southern California, health officials said Sunday.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has confirmed the first case of the virus in the county. The infected person presented themselves for care once they noticed that they were not feeling well and was receiving medical treatment, the department said in a statement.
“There is no immediate threat to the general public, no special precautions are required, and people should not be excluded from activities based on their race, country of origin, or recent travel if they do not have symptoms of respiratory illness,” the department said.
The department said that residents, students, workers, and visitors should continue to engage in their regular activities – and practice good public health hygiene “as this is the height of flu season.”
The department said it was working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other federal, state and local agencies to monitor the “rapidly evolving situation.”
Nothing to see here folks move along quietly and turn in your guns at the end of the line, thank you.

CDC recommends getting vaccinated, taking everyday preventive actions to stop the spread of germs, and taking flu antivirals if prescribed.
Vaccinated? I didn’t think there was a vaccine for this.

Stay strong. Stay united. Stay together. Stay loving. Stay supported. Stay a community.
Having trained for such an outbreak , the world is in for a big surprise if they think the local hospitals and their staff are going to save them if this goes wildfire.
Good time to wake up and start preparing just in case.
At least have 2-4 weeks of canned goods andclean water source just in case it gets real.
The Rescue workers and Hopital Staff will have no clue on how to handle a major outbreak, sad but true.
I’ve been shopping at my tool crib last few days haha sort of a paranoid bug out bag. Grabbed some batteries flashlights etc. Some good respirators and lots of filters. Prolly useless but as I always tell my tool crib "the service sucks but the prices cant be beat "
