@LegsMahoney I haven’t had any issues with it buckling or anything. It’s 3/4 in. PVC so it’s pretty dang solid.

@BeagleZ Its quicker to just dump some water from a bucket/watering can into the reservoir than using this type of sprayer. Cheaper too.

@BeagleZ I’ve got that sprayer too but I just leave it inside for my bed and veg tent.

I still wanted to look down the holes so I have them all positioned to the front of the tent for easy access. My problem was the funnel I was using, didn’t get girthy enough where the water came out. So that bottlenecks the water and I’ve got to water slowly while on my hands and knees.

This new one I fashioned up can deepthroat the water better so I’m not having to water into the funnel slowly. I can just dump it from my jug and it laps it right up.

dude i know! the biggest issue im having with switching to the EBs is that i wont be able to use my sprayer any more! (as much.) the watering process is already 1. fill bucket from the sink 2. do whatever needs to be done to water (add wetting agent, etc.) 3. dump into chapin 4. water. so if i can cut out the middle part for the flower tent all the better. but yea, my poor poor chapin will just be on duty in the veg tent for a while it seems.

I still absolutely use my sprayer when I feed what ever in between waterings!

I like it cause I can put the nozzle in, pump it a few times and take care of the other tent. Easy peasy and I already have it for my bed, got with my points at BAS so was a bonus, agree they are a bit pricey

I can’t imagine going back to meticulously watering a large bed. If you’re going to, that’s the sprayer to use for sure.

Just posting in case anyone was curious about the ac infinity sip’s .

I tried the ac infinity sip pot and it’s definitely not as good as the city picker or earth box. I’m not sure if my set up with them is wrong although they seem fool proof.

@Chickencutlets Can you post a link to what you are referring to?

They hold one gal of water and allow up to a 7 gal fabric pot which I thought size wise was very convenient.

Black Triangle #2, day 13 of flower….topped it on accident today. I tried supercropping the main stalk and it just snapped like a Slim Jim…oh well. Everything happens for a reason, I think it would have grown into the light anyway.

Hell yeah! @unomas That sucker’s looking super healthy! Good on you! Black Triangle is one I’ve been meaning to give a go. Keep us updated on your progress homie!

We’ll, I fucked up and chose the wrong soil mix for my earthbox. I knew setting up the box it was too heavy a mix and I should have added perlite to lighten it up. Not sure if I should ride it out or LITFA- they’ve been in there for 2 weeks today and have lost leaves, discolored others and just doesn’t seem happy. Here they are on the 1st when I set up the boxes and this morning.

What do you think guys? Rip them out and fix the mix and re-plant or LIFTA?

Here they were at transplant on the 1st.

This morning.

I would rip out, amend and transplant. This exact thing happened to me on a mother plant in a 3 gal bucket nested in a 5 gal bucket sip. It just kept getting worse. You are definitely going to lose some time because of the stress but I think it might be hard to limp through the whole grow like that.

Thanks @Magrowers. I agree. I’d rather lose 2-3 weeks and have them finish happy than stress it for the next 3 months.

I’d tend to agree with @Magrowers.
If your dropping leaves, that’s no bueno.

Good vibes, hope she turns around quickly for you and you don’t loose too much time.

I had the same thing happen to my last two goes with build a soil lite @CruJones . Never again! I have some heat to pop anyway so not the end of the world. In my short time growing , I’m realizing this thing of ours is a live and learn hobby .

Reminds me of a quote, “experience is something you don’t get until right after you needed it.”

What came of your grows with BAS lite @CrunchBerries? Did you make it to harvest or did you take out the plants and re-amend?
