Those are my 3 banana danish, the 1 in the front is very indica but the 2 in the back more sativa. They prob have a good 4 weeks to go. Those colas are going to be the size of my forearms. If you look closely at the center plant you will see a bic lighter. Im guessing I will prob get close to a quarter pound of each on of those.
I will NEVER grow this many plants again. Constantly pulling plants in and out to water is a pain in the ass and feel like I’m covered in pine sap from head to toe.
Like getting tarred and feathered every couple days
Need some options guys…i have 2 or 3 plants displaying nitrogen deficiency on some bottom fans but im about 30 to 35 days into flower.
Im a soil grower in fox farm ocean forest using the fox farm trio nutes every other watering along with calmag every watering. I use RO water and my ph meter is accurate and calibrated. I keep my ph between 6.0 and 6.25.
My question is should I add a little “grow big” which is my veg nutrients or just let them go since they are a little over half way though flower?
Hey D, me myself, I do not add N that close to culling them.
Mostly due to the leaf, once yellow, stay yellow. The N late, will not have enough time to make a difference. And, part of me always felt, yellowing out late in flower, gives me a tastier bud, over my girls that are green at the cull. But man, that is just personal taste IMHO.
However, I do not keep up with the latest and greatest nutrients and additives, so maybe something is out there to fight N loss softly late in flower.
When I mix medium, I add feather meal as it’s a slow release N takes a while for to give up it’s N, after the other N sources start falling off.
Just my $.02 man, your a far better grower than I am, your area, and plants are very well crafted.
yeah I agree, adding nitrogen in flowering isn’t a good idea - you want very minimum to 0 N during flower phases. N toxicity can cause weak branches and stems. Nitrogen overfeeding is indicated usually by claw-shaped leaves facing down, little resistance to pests and delayed ripening.
Yellowing of the leafs in flower is not only normal, its a good thing. Some strains tend to yellow more during the senescence phase. I would just makes sure that you don’t have any ph issues causing a premature lockout of nitrogen or other minerals. A healthy dose of myco at the start of flower helps with lockout issues, and a good flush never hurts.
must have some of that lemon thai coming through in the pheno or the Pakistani perhaps…oh i realized you got rid of her after commenting lol. Anyways everything looks great d. I agree with everyone else…no need for the nitrogen just keep doing what youre doing.
Thanks webeblzr…hope for over a pound of finished product which might be a little tough with unknown genetics. If running from clone with known genetics it wouldn’t be a problem but I guess we will see.
Damn very nice, perfect use of space there. I wouldn’t sweat the light N deficiencies the plants eating those lower leaves is probably a good thing anyways. Nice show!
Black sugar is really starting to pack on the sugar but literally has almost no smell even if you squeeze a bud. Cant say thats something I prefer but who knows maybe it will taste good
Well i had 2 white widow and 2 super frosty gelato hermi so needless to say they are all gone. Im now down to 9 plants that seem to be free of any male flowers.
Just checked on the 4 plants that I moved outside about 5 days ago and they all seem to be really enjoying it so far. I dont see any new male flowers anywhere on them so thats good
