Minnesota Grow show. Dynasty Genetics

4x4 tent. Chilled 600w led light.
Plants started out in 1 gallon fabric pots with osmocote + granular fert at a rate of 1 tbsp per gallon. Grew out till I could sex the plant and once I had the plants I wanted I transfered 5 plants to AC infinity 3 gallon pots with 2 additional tbsps of osmocote + mixed into the bottom 3rd of the pot. 4 of these plants have been placed on AC infinity self watering pot bases, 1 plant will be bottomnwated by hand . 2 plants were placed into 3 gallon octopots, these plants are a few weeks behind the 5 other plants. No additional osmocote + was added to these 2 plants.

Additional additives
I’m using ro water so every watering gets 5ml calmag, 5ml silicablast, 2 ml hydroguard as a base.
Octopots I will be using Urban farms Vegtable for veg and urban farm garden of eden for flower. I will also be using these on the ac infinity plants but at a reduced rate due to the osmocote+. Also using Recharge every few waterings on the ac infinity plants.

Role call from back to front

Back row Dynasty Genetics Kali Snapple bx2
Middle row Dynasy Genetics Grapefruit Kali Snapple
Front row Dynasty Genetics Lemon Lolipops(in octopots) and 1 Grapefruit Kali Snapple (in 3gal pot, hand watered.

Very nice! I’m gonna pull a chair up and watch them grow. Was eyeballing some packs of the Kali Snapple a couple months ago when looking for strains with good grapefruit terps.

Very cool! Always been a fan of the professor and his work, SROG is still one of my favourites. I wanted those kaki Snapple bad! Looking forward to seeing how they express for you

Yeah I went all in on the Prof, grew Carmel Candy Kush many years ago and it’s still a top 3 strain all time for me.

I have 4 salmon River OG and 4 Pineapple fields seedlings started. Plan is to keep a mother for each. The kali snapples say they are a 11 week strain and the rest at 9 week. Wanted to have a quicker finishing strain so I got the Salmon River OG since it said its a 7-8 week . This way I figure I can space out my harvests for my perpetual grow so its not so much all at one time.

I’m in a predicament lol. I’m am quickly running out of space. These were suppose to be flipped to flower the 1st of Feb but I won a trip to Mexico from work and just so happened to land right estimated harvest window. I dodnt want to leave for a week right after harvest during the drying time so I’m planning on pushing these to Feb 15 which will get harvest past the vacation . However these plants are getting huge. I ordered another light for another tent from Chilled and even though it still says ready to ship within 10-15 days on their site the response I got from them after not receiving my light after 3 weeks is that theu don’t have any of the Samsung leds in stock and they don’t know when they will be in. Incredibly frustrating company to deal with, had to wait almost 4 months for my first light and now this. Great light , build and components but absolutely shit customer service, if you do go with them just expect months of wait time to recover your light and don’t trust what they day on their site about being in stock, I don’t think I will be doing buisness with them again.
Rant over
I do have 2 small led panels that I may set up for the 2 smaller lemon lollipops in octopots since they are a few weeks behind the others and give them some more veg time, their growth is considerably behind the kali snapples and Grapefruit Kalis.

As you can see considerable growth from thread creation. 1 kali snapple inparticular (rear left corner of first pic and solo pics) is looking to be a monster.

Salmon river og and pineapple fields have sprouted and in the starter tent. The clones I took look like I may have gotten 3 of the 8 clones, I do everything the videos say and I still can clone for shit. In the process of making a 5 gallon bucket aerocloner as it seems they are easier to get clones to root than soil and clones.

Now the reason you are here, pictures

Have grown a couple of Proffesor Ps creations, never disapointed yet. Heres to a cracking grow.

Alright weekly update. Canceled order with Chilled and ordered a California lightworks solarsystem 550 with controller. Will be moving the 2 lemon lollipops in octopots to my 2x4 tent with the solarsystem leaving the 3 Grapefruit Kali snapples and 2 kali snapples bx2 in the 4x4 . Seedlings and cuttings will be being moved to a spare 32"x32" under the electric sky 180.
Just to show thw power of octpots the 2 of them have not only caught up to the plants they are a couple weeks behind but surpassed them , they are absolutely blowing up. They are in the front corners of the first pic and the left corners of the 2nd pic.
These plants are drinking alot of water, making trips to Walmart twice a week for RO water, not fun carrying 10 gallons of water . Looking into buying a tank less RO system.

Moving day

Moved the 2 lemon lollipops to the 2x4 and defoliated in prep for flower. This leaves the 3 Grapefruit Kalis and 2 kali snapples in the 4x4. They will be getting defoliated this weekend. Moved the 3rd Grapefruit onto a AC infinity self watering base so now all 5 plants in the 4x4 are innthe ac bases and the 2 lollipops are in 6 gallon octopots. One thing I have found is that the bobbers on the AC bases need to be checked daily, they get stuck alot giving false water level readings. I take them out and give them a tap on the base and also look for a waterline on the unit itself.

Got the California Lightworks solarsystem 550 and controller set up in my 2x4 with the lemon lollipops and scheduled thw rest of the grows lighting schedule. Really interested to see how these plants come out. With the controller you are able to make programs and adjust the levels of blue, red and white led wavelengths for each program. Made a preflower, flower and finish program with the suggested led intensity levels. Thw controller runs the on off timers and a built in calender allows to to program a entire grow schedule. Both tents will he starting 12/12 tomorrow.

First feeding in the flower phase. 3ml cal/mag, 2 ml hydroguard, 5ml silica blast and 12ml urban Farms garden of eden.
As you can see thw plants have recovered from defoliation pretty quick. The 2 octopots in the 2x4 are filling out thw scrog net nicely. Ussually I tuck for a couple weeks but im thinking I will be done by Sunday. May have to do some additional defoliation due to thw huge fan leafs the lemon lollipops produce , normally i wait till day 14 for theb2nd defoliation. So far I’m really impressed with the California lightworks unit, 200 less watts than the Chilled LED light but seems more intense.

1 week into flower. Well you can probably see the 4x4 looks different, one of the Grapefruit Kalis ended up being a male, been along time since I missexed a plant in preflower. It was probably for the better as the tent was just overcrowded. The 2 front plants are the grapefruits, 2 rear plants are the Kalis and 2 lemon lollipops in the 2x4. Trimmed up the underside of the 2x4 scrog. Big old fat fan leaves on these plants. Scrog net is mostly filled, over filled in some areas. Dehumidifier running nonstop, pulling almost 2 gallons of water a day so not so many trips to Walmart for 5gal RO water refills.

Day 11 of flower, will be doing another defoliating on Sunday. Tents are full, the 2x4 is beyond full, just going to let it go from here and let what happens happen. Wish 2x4s had another foot of headspace hard to keep octopot plants a good distance away from the light.

This is the solar system controller. Really liking everything about this light and controller. With week three I am now in the flower phase I programmed and it automatically changes the rgw levels to whatever you program. Also buikt in light timer which is nice. You can also program the lights to ramp up and ramp off over a certain period of time, I choose 30 mins so the first and last 30 mins the lights slowly ramp up to full power and fade off.
