DEA Says Marijuana Seeds Are Considered Legal Hemp

Lately I have heard quite a bit of back and forth on the issue.
This webinar should help settle those issues.
It was sent to me by a lawyer for reference.

I dont know about other places if this is how it is. Here in Missouri many places the police/sheriffs when it comes to the war on people they take their orders from the DEA over locals.

This is true, I often tell folks that grow and live in legal states that the DEA could come take everyone to jail if they wanted to.
if they wanted to.

That’s good news

It’s been a ‘Schrodinger’s Cat thing’ for a while, they know the current legislation is bull (They’ve known there’s no THC in seeds for decades) but a lot of other laws would be affected by changes (like a Jenga game
)

I’ll ‘bet the farm’ they will always require a Phytosanitary Certificate for materials crossing the border. It’s in their DNA
 :smirk:

Cheers

Exactly! And I did MOST all my seed receiving before I increased plant numbers. I’ve had a few during. All I’m allowed is 2 more from the Romulan run. You’ve definitely confirmed don’t be blasĂ© and relax guard down. I’m taking this as legal grow shouldn’t mean complacent, especially if you technically aren’t

The D.A.R.E program was one of the first things that made me want to smoke grass. When I seen all those American Flag rolled joints and I heard the officer talk about how it would make me feel like I could fly(I don’t know about the whole jump off a roof shit that def sounded scetchy)And see hallucinogenic shit(Maybe happens to me 2 times my whole life on some Serious seeds White Russian from 2003 and some Dr atomic blueberry. That drug case exhibit case was a walking advertisement to get into freaky shit.I must have been a weird kid I seen the peyote buttons and the lsd and was like woah sign me up.

Thank you for calling the “the drug war” its proper name → The war on people.

That was the first thing that came to my mind when my kid was involved with that program.
I thought if these kids don’t know about drugs, they do now.
Seemed to me they made it sound exciting.
Like to scare the kids, but I did stupid shit everyday as a kid to kill the intercity boredom.
When kids get bored the wanna do/try something new and exciting.
That is why I tried all the drugs I did, but in the end I got settled in nicely with just weed.
Gatway drug my ass, it can be a way out for some.

Over here in oz it’s mostly still fully illegal, except in the capital most likely because the politicians got sick of their kids getting busted.
We still have yearly choppers flying overhead and they will still bust you for beans.
Personally I’m a believer that everything should be made legal, with prescriptions for the harder stuff, it’s not so much fentanyl killing people as the fact that they are not getting heroin because it’s just illegal and any deal could be anything  It’s the ‘drug war’ that kills people. I’ve had a few run ins with drunks, never had one with an aggressive smack junkie.
Meth on the other hand, zero positive side to making more of that available but the hypocrisy of the government making bank from alcohol given all the well proven harms makes the laws an ass imho.

I don’t know if their kids getting busted for it really is the reason Most of the time cops let them go so they don’t want the hassle of mommy or daddy knowing a DA or judge shit rolls down hill.they are probably trying to get stock in those companies and swirl their finger in the pie and get a taste come see what Hochul is doing here in NY.them going against it is their best advertisement to go and buy state dispensaries garbage.I swear that same people have stocks in firearms companies.Everytime the fear mongers chime in everyone goes and buys more firearms.

Yeah, last time I got busted the cop told me that none of them wanted to be there, arresting some middle aged hippy with zero criminal record for growing a few plants was a long way from productive policing in his view, they had better shit to be doing. Over here the legal prescription based supply of weed is a bit of a joke, it’s mostly expensive crap and you still can’t have any trace in your blood while driving else it’s a guaranteed criminal conviction. I think it’s generational still here, the older voters are still drinking the cool aid of the ‘war on drugs’ etc. I am sure it’s going to change but in the meantime we have one of the highest gambling losses on the planet with pokie machines in every pup and club taking the food off the tables of families of problem gamblers, and meanwhile alcohol related deaths and injuries just keep going up. It just makes zero sense.

100% agree
This is one of the best “legalize” arguments I’ve read. Well done @slain

I’d say D.A.R.E was terroristic indoctrination to feel afraid of the “gateway” to ruination of your future life, that would end up destitute. Propaganda is what governments do best, but once you find out truth, then you say WHAT ELSE are they hiding and lying about. Cannabis is the ultimate red pill to wake up from being an automaton drone conditioned to government narratives.

Oh but it is a gateway @OriginalDankmaster96

A gateway to critical thinking skills :+1:

As far as I can deduce, the ‘gateway theory’ is based on two seriously flawed assumptions;
One that exposure to an intoxicating substance leads to the user seeking out further intoxicating agents, meanwhile alcohol companies sponsor sporting events and having a beer or ten is a national pastime.
Two that exposure to a ‘dealer’ who may also be selling other drugs means there is more likelihood of obtaining more ‘harmful’ drugs. Meanwhile such ‘dealers’ only even exist because the law makes supply illegal.
As far as I am concerned we are so far past any logical arguments for ‘the war on drugs’ that anyone parroting these old tropes immediately clearly has no idea what they are even talking about.

I wish the DEA would figure out the difference between THC and THC-a
there is zero THC in cannabis unless it is combusted
why did federal lawmakers pass a law like this
hmmm. Seems like it could be some sort of internal affairs Sting Operation
:rocket: They are coming for you Mitch!

Correct! Looking for the higher high if you will. That cannabis doesn’t satiate an addict looking for stronger substances. It’s based on the will of the individual not seeking out the substance that they may have weak will to give in to.
