Tall Blueberry looking pissed off today.
Wow! That is not how I wouldâve expected a Blueberry to look. At all. Itâs so⌠nug-y haha. Looks like an OG or something⌠Now that I think about it, though, Iâm not sure Iâve ever actually read even one Blueberry grow log, so⌠But yeah, I woulda thought sheâd grow a little differently, for sure. Pretty cool!
Happy Motherâs Day to yours.
Going to be backing off the light some.
Old tall Blueberry not liking the bump up.
The others are just dandy.
Right lol, she is the odd one out of the 3. The others are looking normal
The claw! Lol all my BB have done that to some extent.
Oh good, nothing to be to overly worried about?
The claw reminds me of lier lier the movie lol.
Yeah its pretty common with BB strains - often seen as too much N causing but ive seen it on more yellower ones ha. I think some phenos just do it - maybe with a bit of stress or not.
Yeah, Iâve never grown Blueberry, but Iâve definitely had a few plants âclaw.â Never worried about it, never tried to âfixâ it, smoke still turned out great. I think that the clawing thing is something that hydro growers have to pay attention to and concern themselves with, moreso than anybody growing organically or even just in soil with salts or whatever.
How long between looking good and looking like that? Iâd probably give it a good watering of 150-200 ml h2o2 per gallon just to make sure the roots are good.
Its been about 3 days Iâve noticed her starting to look like it is now. Water yesterday early morning, pot still feels heavy. Iâll definitely consider the h202.
The other three seem to not be bothered.
I wouldnât worry about it at all. Probably just a weird plant, especially since everything else is looking fine. Youâd think that being at f5 or whatever generation those Bluberries are at now, everything would grow very uniform. Guess not haha.
I went ahead and splashed some h202 this morning with the feeding.
The pot felt heavy from 2 days ago, usually she is drinking way more.
Another sign of root issue. Rapid decline was the first clue. Light damage would be more gradual and top down. In my experience.
If I use h2o2 I go straight tap with 150-200 ml h2o2 per gallon. Then let it sit for a half day or day then resume feeding.
I looked this morning and she looked more pissed off. I went ahead with the h202 even though she felt heavy.
Hoping at lunch time she perks up some.
May take a bit longer than that. I dealt with something similar. H2o2 fixed it. But it didnât drink normally for awhile. Like week at least, probably more.
Iâm happy to have just found your Flo and BB grow! Now i have to read it from the start.
Never have i grown pure BB, but 4 of 5 BB hybrids i grew did the same âclawâ leaves. I found out BB doesnât like having much N, or wet roots for very long. It seems BB is hard to keep happy but worth the extra effort.
What helped me when my leaves were âclawâ, was to dry out the soil a bit.
You said the pots were heavy, maybe gently scoop off the top 1-2 inches of wet soil or coco?
Then maybe increase air flow near stem base.
It helped my clawing to reduce pot moisture but the RH (air humidity) in the room will go up so good air circulation in the room is key. Or âhelp dry outâ the BB in a space away from the other plants so their RH isnât effected.
Just my 2 cents. Thank you for reading.
Thank you for this knowledge! Iâm glad you stopped by, this seems like its about to get interesting soon.
She soaked up a gallon, hoping to see some beauty ina few days.
After doing a bit more research, i do think the BB is clawing from too much N.
Edit. Donât let this discourage you. Itâs not a major issue.
All your other plants look just awesome! Iâll be cheering from the sidelines.
