I’m just one opinion. You could try starving some and see how they like that . I was hesitant to give full feed to my babies but people were telling me it would be fine. So I tried it. Haven’t looked back.

Love it for perpetual. You’re mixing up feed all the time for the big ones. Nice to just pour a bit on the babies. Not have to mix something else up.

Here’s my current babies. Don’t worry about that ugly one. It’s been a freak all along. Seven days. Full feed the whole time. No burn.

Oh yeah I forgot. These were getting full strength dyna gro for the first 4-5 days to test it out. They didn’t mind that at all either. Even more reinforcement for me to feed those babies!

Do you mix a gallon and water until it comes out of coco? If you dont use it all do you save it or start fresh each time?

Yup to runoff every time. Not a lot. Any amount is good for me. Long as it’s an even pour then you know you’re good.

I do save it and use it later. Can definitely save with a cap for days.

@Eagles009 you have helped yet again! This was so much easier then before.
Mixed up a batch of Jacks 321 added 2 ml calmag and a half tablespoon of Molasse.
Thank again bro.
Now what do I do with all this PH up and down .
Also think I might have broke my RH meter.

Well you’re still a tad high. That’s perfect for soil but I aim for like 5.8-6 in coco. if I were you…I might just try it at 6.3. Might work just fine. But if you see issues. I’d go down another .4

Nice selections. If that meters not broke 6.38 shouldn’t be bad in soil. Same here on perlite and peat bale’s too. Can’t get em. I’ve been thinking of diving back in on a good blueberry or blueberry hasplant maybe.

@rooted Thanks bud! I had a nice Blueberry cheesecake from the dispensary. Helped my stomach lots, figured minus the cheese and right to the berry

Spent the day cleaning the 4x4 veg tent.

Couldn’t find myself to clean the 5x7 flower closet.
That needs scrubbed extra well since the lemons skunks hermed. Tired and need to relaxe the rest of the short weekend .

Moving right along, this room doesn’t like to keep RH up.

I’m hoping the CSI Chem D seeds don’t do the same thing as the CSI AF1 x Obama.

Its taken a couple of days but we are getting the 4x4 to good RH :+1:.

Took @Eagles009 advice and buried the CSI Chem :dog2: seeds a little deeper. Seems the shells like to get glued to the flower.

Another CSI that seems like it’s not going to sprout, crossing fingers.

Out of 4 Chem :dog2: s, 1 didn’t pop. Thats twice two strains from CSI :face_with_monocle::thinking:

Hoping for the best.

If I lose this one its about a 50/50 sprout rate on the CSIs. I’m going to leave this membrane on for now, it seems tightly on and im afraid of damaging it.

Fed the little Canna babies today. Went in at 5.9 PH and came out 6.6.?
I’ll try 5.8 next time.

Noticed some nice root action going on with Blueberry 5. Not sure if the yellowing and wrinkled leaves are due to PH coming out at 6.6 last feeding. Still unsure how that happens since I went in at 5.9 :upside_down_face:

Cool project. Big Blueberry fan here and it’s my GF’s favorite strain. Excited to see how these f5’s turn out for ya

Are you phing down after mixing up the Jacks? Try one or two without that crap and see if they green up.

Not sure why your adding this. As far as I know this is a soil thing. Not much use with coco and salts.
I could be wrong.

I’m not overly familiar with salt based nutes - but something to keep in mind is that DJ Shorts strains do not react well to normal - high amounts of nitrogen. They really thrive with lower levels of nutrients, as well as good dry periods in between watering. They can be very finicky! Not sure if you’re seeing an issue with N, just something to keep in mind.

You don’t want coco to dry out, its a bad thing in coco.
