Sounds just like the KM I had in ~ 2004-5 from Gypsy/SeedBoutique. Definitely were fluffy massive buds that from memory were 2-Liter bottle sized++ and quadrupled in size post flip. Only 1 or 2 of the phenos finished before 70 days I believe and had quite different growth habits. They were incredibly frosty but not as potent as the longer flowering phenos. A few did induce racy thoughts / anxiety, but that may just be from the Afghani(?) added to KM post 98.
A friend of a friend grew some Kali Mist around 2004, my memory of it is as some of my favorite cannabis I’ve had. I just remember it being very cerebral, centering, and euphoric. And tasty. Really tasty compared just about everything else we were getting at the time, but our other sources at the time were pretty spotty.
I’ve seen the F4s around, and been curious about them. I have heard to he had selected the line towards faster flower times, and that put me off to wanting to try them. I am really curious what you will get out of them though. I’ll be following along intently(and mostly quietly).
Alright, sorry it’s taken me so long to finish this log. Honestly, the other three Bandaid Hazes smoke pretty much exactly like the #6 I reviewed, so I really haven’t felt the need to write reports for each pheno. They’re all very, very good, extremely pleasant and enjoyable. Only the #3, the one that needed like at least another month but that I chopped on day 76 because of the aphids, is a little different. She has a much, much heavier comedown than the other three, which I find a little surprising, considering she was chopped way too early. The initial hour-and-a-half or so is pretty much exactly the same as the others, but after that, I usually end up taking a nap.
I did wanna make one note. That perfume-enthusiast chick came over a week or two ago and I had her smell one of the BAH #1 jars. She described it thusly: “cereal, grains, lime, mossy lime skin, limonene and lavender,” in that order. She’s got a good nose haha. They all smell like spicy plastic to me, but I trust her opinion. Thought it was pretty interesting.
So yeah, that’s the end of this log. I do wanna add one other thing, though. Some of you may have seen me mention that house down the street from me that I was certain was growing. Had two AC units on the roof of their, like, 1500 square-foot house, always stank like weed whenever we’d walk by etc etc. Anyway, I drove by the other day and this is what I saw:
Haha! I only got one of the 55-gallon drums in that pic, but there were like four more sitting out in the front yard. I guess they use those for hydro something something? I dunno, but my girl’s always like,”Oh, whatever! You think everybody’s growing!” (which is true, I do think everybody’s growing). Ran inside after I snapped that pic and showed it to her, all like,”SEE??? I told you!” Drove by two days later and there was a pile of like eight 12” x 4’ carbon filters in the front yard haha. I guess they just bounced and didn’t even bother to clean up. But I thought that was pretty funny, anyway. And sad, too… haha. One less grower on the block…
Anyway, yeah, this concludeth ye ol’ grow report haha.
Did you poach some filters?? That’s the kind of front yard freebies I can get behind, around here it’s all kids toys and not so gently used furniture
Haha, nahhhh… Didn’t even think about it. I figure if it’s something they left behind it means it wasn’t worth them taking with them in the first place. I didn’t notice any lights or fans or anything in the front yard, ya know? Probably woulda grabbed those if I did haha. Just a shitload of ducting, carbon filters and 55-gallon drums with squares cut into the tops, I dunno what that’s about.
It was a mess out there for sure, though, that pic is actually pretty terrible and doesn’t even get close to capturing all the shit that was in the front yard. I mean, whoever was cleaning that house out had to get one of those big-ass dumpster things to haul everything away. I was like,”Damn! Those motherfuckers were pumping OUT the weed!” haha. It was pretty obvious that every room in that house was being used to grow. Impressive haha.
I never met them, but I miss them already… haha!
