Doc D cannabis seeds

Not sure if you use IG, but lazy_pharaoh ran That Lloyd and speaks pretty highly of it, sounds like a killer strain.

I LOVE Doc D! Just received my seed order. So excited for these seeds. Doc gave me a pack of Mexican Melon! Also gave me Tahoe OG x Swazi Red/Malawi Gold/Blueberry! I have just recently bought Tahoe OG clone. Only to have my dog eat it. So lucky I got this Tahoe Cross.
THANK YOU DOC D!!!

When did Doc originally release this Tahoe cross?

Tester request on IG for the RGB male was back in Sept 2016. The Tahoe OG cross was included in that list.

Not all of Doc D’s stuff makes it to his official “release list” for various reasons, so it may never have been released.

You went DEEP!

I’d actually be more stoked about the Red/Gold/Blue in that cross than I would the Tahoe, although I do love Tahoe. Great weed. I was reeeeeallllyyyy hoping to get a pack of the Red/Gold/Blue repro as my “vault treasure” freebie, but alas, it was not meant to be haha… And it’s not like I’d ever demand, like,”Please include blahblahblah as my freebie!”

I did get a Golden Tiger/Black Triangle Remix freebie when Doc sent those Sour D x DE packs. That just sounds like a bizarre and super-interesting cross. Anybody know anything about those? I mean, I know what Golden Tiger is, I know what the Black Triangle Remix is, but has anybody seen a posted grow of that particular cross? It sounds kind of fucking insane haha.

Mini tent filled with mostly BLR x NWHP. Stem rubs range from pickles (fairly common), sweet fresh cut grass and a little kush. I absolutely love the growth on most of these. The biggest ones have gone at least three times periods of drought where they completely fall over, bent in half, leaves completely wilted. The smaller ones up until recently got watered at the same time and never dealt with that stress because of their growth rate. About a week into flower. Disregard the two on the right those are males. Fun fact the stretchy one in the 8oz solo cup has been in that same solo cup since Christmas. Only water, although it did get a little bit of calmag like a month ago

And disregard the one in the very back that just got moved in there today. Suspected male

How come? Any specific reason? Were you stress-testing them or did you just get lazy? Haha. I’m not criticizing, just curious.

In any event, good to know that they’re resilient.

They are all on the same schedule out of laziness, so the faster growers/thirsty ones are will be thirsty as fuck on the average watering and a lot of times just falling over haha. For reference the big ones have like twice the biomass at least. Everything is roughly the same height but some have an extra two sets of nodes, varying degrees of branching etc. It’s half “stress testing” half natural work flow. This is the tent I don’t give a fuck about. I love seedlings, and I try and maintain my flower tent. This other tent which is normally for males so when pollen is flying I don’t go in there much, and before pollen is flying it’s just a easy to forget about

I’ll take a before and after next time I do it. All that ever happens is the very lowest significant set of leaves, which are barely level with the top of the soil bag, gets a little discolored and/or starts to die a little

**not bandaid haze x beastie boy #20 after a little more than a week of flower. Mislabeled a clone and this beautiful plant was actually one of my males, either #12 or #22, I think the latter. Either way, kinda bummed. I even saw this like a week or two ago but I was like nah she’ll pull through. Didn’t even believe what I was seeing haha. If this is the #12 I think I already collected pollen from him but I don’t think I collected 22. Might dig out the root ball and flower this with the males, the floral smell on this might do well with my wookie hasnplant.

Lemon Thai f5. This thing was sprouted mid December, lost a whole tray to damping off but I had three survivors, all female. Only flowered this one cause the others were weaker plants and this thing didn’t mind being rootbound in a 8oz mini solo cup December through March. Put her in a 5 gal beginning of April. She was topped at like the 10th node which I was like fuck that was stupid! But lower beaches shot up and it created a pretty great canopy thanks to giving it time to fill out. Just barely starting to produce resin. Tangy stem rub, a little bit of sour candy, kinda fresh cut grass (not the overwhelming green smell but that kinda sweet smell of cut grass)

Just a quick heads-up to anybody growing the Purple Corinto Budder x A5Thai: I was watering my plants a second ago and noticed that one of those PCB x A5T was autoflowering, 39 days into veg. Male flowers everywhere. So, yeah, just FYI. I removed him, obviously haha.

Good to know.
Big old EDIT here: it is the PCb x NWHP that are poppin off. The PCB x A5T are definitely complaining about needing new shoes.

The PCB x NWHP are most vigorous plants I have vegging now, and the only ones not affected by being under potted. I keep expecting them to complain, but other than some purple stems they’re just trucking along. :+1:
Really cool growth pattern too, the lower branches are growing damn near horizontal, looks like they’re tied down, but they’re not. The top branches have a bit of skyward inclination, but still more out than up.
