Draig-n-LZ's indoor grows

I think we are both doing a little happy dance eh? Always fun swapping genetics, especially so many and especially to old friends. I wish I had Celtic Berry, it was my favorite… My very 1st cross ever was CB x Dub’s Diesel F3… remember Dubman? his Diesel strain was unreal… the creation was beautiful and grew this awesome main cola… but, back then I thought 80 days was to long to wait so I shit canned the strain… WTF. you idjit… still cry over her.

But, I think this Blue Vangoo is going to surpass everything, even my Gabagoo.

Oh yeah we loved opening the care package. Definitely doing a happy dance with all the jems in there!

I know what you mean about losing a much loved genetic. Been there done that. But others come along that can almost take their place.

I remember the CS x Badass Berry it was a great cross.
Also remember Dubman, a name I haven’t heard in a long time. Wonder how he’s doing.

Looking forward to seeing a Blue Vangoo and Gabagoo grow! Make sure you post those!

Take care, talk soon brother, and Thanks!

Hey guys… how’s things going up there where it gets cold… brrrrrr… hehe.

Really thinking about making some serious changes. the tent I have in the closet fits in there, but, has to be put together inside the closet… yeah, tricky.
The smaller tent can slide in just barely, and out… so if we need to get to the hot water heater fast we can…
Plus, Mars Hydro is sending me a new inline fan/filter combo as part of my ongoing sponsorship… this way I can take better photos too… shipped out already… nice. it’s at another site where I won bud of the month so they approached me right after…

I’m glad your gift box put a smile on your face… more then welcome brother, and sister… hahaha

Hey brother, don’t rub it in Asshole hahah
Yeah, it’s a bit cold and some snow. Good for opening day of fire arrm Deer season. Can’t get out into my woods this year but could probably just hunt out my Deck hehe. They’ve been hanging around our wee apple orchard.

It sounds like a you got some challenges for a new setup, but I know you. You’ll make it work!

Congrats on the inline Fan/filtcombo and bud of the month! I’m envious.

We are very happy with our goodie box! Hope you enjoy yours as well my friend! Wish you much success with the old old-school genetics!

Be well my brother

We want bud porn… hahaha. Yeah, it was 82f today, be nice to shut the A/C off to give it a rest and the power bill…

Yeah, on another site last August, Bud of the Month winner and a new label under my name with a trophy… lol. and get this. 2 other members won BOM growing my Gabagoo… so it’s won twice. One was a mod… hehehe.
Right now mine are getting close to starting to show sex…

Best of luck on your harvest… all I know is trimming makes my arthritic elbows hurt like heck… so have fun…

A little citrus, herbal and pine…very subtle…it’s a Landrace, so not real ‘in your face’ and the trichs are very small…

Awesome sounds nice. I bet it has a nice high to go with it. Looks great. Good job growing her.

Oops sorry doubleposted.

Thanks! Landraces are a little touchy… each one has real specific water needs, and very dialed-in nutes… reg nutes burn them, but too low, and they yellow out…
Gotta admit NOT my favorite grow…

I hear that. But it sure looks like it was worth it.

Hey @Kavman! Nice of you to stop by buddy! Yeah considering they are Landrace and desert they are light feeders and sensitive to overwatering other than that we really can’t tell how other phenos will behave.

I’m really interested interested in a cedar and citrus pheno that I remember back in the day. This one

@Lady.Zandra63 I know you’re not overjoyed with this one so far but we/you only grew these 2 females so.I’m hoping you have better luck with a bigger run. If not I promise to move on… with a new Bekka Valley Lebanese from another source. lol

Also wouldn’t mind getting the cherry, mango phenotypes

Lebanese can have higher CBD to THC or higher THC to CBD. Which is what I’m after.

@Draig maybe one day I will try growing something of that nature. Pretty much been growing hybrids for as long as I can remember. I also see you guys got signed up for some of that Temple Flo. That’s the closest to a land race I have grown since the early 90’s haha. I think you guys will like it.

…any excuse for more seeds!!

@Kavman she’s going to be used for traditional sieved hash. We have a set of 3 - 18"x 24" wooden silk screen that we bought from.a silk screen company some years ago. We’ll Probably do the same with the Turkish, I’ll certainly try the bud first

Yeah Lady Z signed up I didn’t but I’ll definitely enjoy them! We’ve grown the DJ’s BB from the late 90’s the stretched Indica…beautiful plant. but none of His floral lines. We have 4 seeds of DJ S Flo F5 so I’m exited about the Temple FLO!

I am with you Kav I have some chocolate Thai pollen waiting for Hindu Kush in the near future.

Take care
Draig

As far as landraces, I believe they are unique in high with Cannabinoids and the building blocks of every strain today and should be preserved while they can. Going to be doing several reproductions of as many as we can.
both Landrace Sativa & Indica. Just bit the bullet and bought a pack of Acapulco Gold given to MMS from Bodhi first order from them. They say it mosy goes to charity to build wells in India?

I couldn’t agree more.
Hopefully I will score some landraces in the future and wrestle growing them. They can be tricky they say. A friend of mine back in the early 90’s had this Vietnamese he got from his uncle that brought them back from the war /conflict there. Smelled straight up like peaches. And the high was very unique.

Gonna be a nice high to experience though huh bro…

You ever get a chance to grow these Jamaican seeds? really has my interest as I screwed up and lost my Jamaican Orange… but these Blue Mtn sound nice…
I heard someone loved Stardawg… well, I happen to be sitting on 2 feminized Seeds of her… photo periods. but it comes with a connection… another preservation run on something created but not tested as of yet.

Black Oger by…ME. I have 5 seeds, huge seeds… accidentally hit by Vietnamese Black, but it’s the Oger it hit that is magical and needs preserving.

Ghost Oger by Oregon Kid…clone went to Wesos, few Canadian buddies winding up in reversed seed form with my buddy Barefrog who sent me 6 seeds… same Ghost Oger cut that GHOST bought for $1000 …

No hurry either… love to send you these.

@Kavman hey buddy! That’s a cool story about the Vietnamese and the peach pheno sounds delicious!! I.think, in general many landraces tend to need a lot less nutrients some are prone to intersex traits and as with any long flowering Sativa types there’s more time for things to go wrong, not to mention managing height indoors and they generally do much better with more light and preferably outdoors, but is not realistic in a northern climate without a heated greenhouse or sunroom… the trick for many is to flower them when they are less than a foot or only couple weeks into veg and need several toppings and or major Scrog or LST depending on branching.
