Dutch Organic Farmer Since 2002

Started with 4 packs Soma Amnees * Chocorain. After determining M/F and first inspection, 12 remained. I have now selected up to 3 beautiful women.

My favorite in the photo. Now exactly 42 days on 12 / 12 light dark hours. This lady continues to grow fast for first 4 weeks during 12/12 and even a little stretch in week 5. The tops still have a fluffy, airy structure, let’s see how that develops in the coming weeks.

We are having a mediocre summer by Dutch standards. Cold nights of 14 degrees and last night 12.5 degrees slow down the plants. During the day 22-24 degrees and in the greenhouse 26-29 degrees. The sun is present, but there are often also some clouds.

In the coming weeks I expect to be home more often and be able to update more.

Both blue glue haze, the left one clearly a blavender glue type. This one has a very stocky growth, in my opinion too stocky and therefore not a preference. I’ll leave this one for now because I have the space for it. Most of my bluegluehaze ladies are like the ones on the right. Especially when grown indoors, there is always a need for some haze hybrid growth with the harder, more compact indica buds.

This is a Chocolate rain X Soma amnesia. It has got different bud structure than the one i posted pictures from earlier. This one is now +/- 5 weeks flowering 12/12 dont know exactly. It also goes x 4 during flower and has a nice open structure. That is the structure i like for cannabis plants. It looks like this pheno wil make more the kushie golfbal buds. Lets see how it will go next weeks.

This is the Chocolate rain X Soma amnesia. From the post above. So much more ’ sativa’ in the buds. The buds kept growing for 10 days after the plant stopped growing. Love the plant structure but what i want to see now is that these buds gets more dense.

Now 9 days later, we had some hot days 34 degrees and very sunny nearly 40 degrees in the greenhouse. But we also got chilly nights and again so much rain, allmost 10 liters in a 20 liter bucket rain night. What i can see for now is that we will have a sunny weekend 25 degrees but after the weekend it will be raining for days with low temps.

In addition to this chocolate rain amnesia, I have one other lady left. I got rid of the others because they simply performed less and I only want the best.

Next week I will try to take better pictures of this lady. She went 12/12 2 weeks later.

Yes, here we are again.

Autumn has arrived. Immediately a lot of long rain showers and cold nights, it’s terrible.

Unfortunately botrytis was found yesterday in the longest flowering chocolate rain soma amnesia, flowering 9 weeks 12/12 now. I had to remove some buds. Now we hope that the measures help and the other buds can mature so that we can assess the plants for the end result.

The Bleu Glue haze and reclining lady now have the first index finger, thick mini buds, I hope for autumn sun for them!

I’ll see if I can take some pictures tomorrow.

Random pics longest flowering chocolate rain soma amnesia.

Week 11.5 / 12 now. Cold nights cold days not so much sun. Think you can compare it to week 10 12/12 indoors. Had to remove some buds due to botrytis bud rot. Now trying to let some buds ripen for the total end result testing, looks, smells, smokes…

Trimmed the longest flowering Chocolate Rain × Soma Amnesia yesterday. Made some photos from the trimmed buds. I think that this one is good enough to do an indoor test. We had a bad summer here in Holland, it was cold and a lot of rain. So indoors the flower cycle will go to 70-75 days and ofcourse quality will be an other level.

Here is an other Chocolate rain x Soma amnesia. This one is approximetely 4 weeks behind on the one i trimmed yesterday. Average weather this one had during flowering was even worse than the other.

Today I removed 2 more plants. 1 reclining lady, which lagged behind the others, produced much more leaves and clearly fewer trichomes. 1 blue glue haze continued to stretch, too much influence from the sativa c5. I have noticed that over the years I have become much more comfortable with selecting out. I will certainly have removed a plant too early, but so be it. When you start with enough seeds you have the opportunity to select from.

Chocolate rain x Soma amnesia.

A friend of my told me weeks and weeks ago that this could be a special one.

We had clones on 12/12 for m/f test and after some weeks first mini buds and smell started to come and we made a selection for second round that is flowering now. This one smelled different than all the others. I was thinking about some wild pollination or so but we gave it a try. What we see now is the most chocolate rain like pheno from all the plants and also the only one. Others were on soma amnesia side.

Yes i removed like 40 percent buds to give others more air.

Now it is going to ripen in the next 2 weeks.

Definitely a nice strain that I can recommend to everyone. Keep in mind that we had a very bad summer here in the Netherlands, it was more of a mix of autumn and spring. My garden was completely flooded twice with 8 inches water. I did make a selection and that was possible because there were enough seeds at the start.

I am very curious whether the reclining lady can compete against the newer generation.
