Dutchie anyone? Greandal goes to Friesland

Day 56 photo dump. I could harvest the main cola now but I’m taking the whole plant 63 days. This pheno isn’t very crystally, didn’t have pink hairs, and grows small buds. It smells like 'dutch genetics". Not sure how to describe it. No loud pine or cedar scents but there is a subtle tree sap smell in there. Looking forward to smoking her. I put one clone outside. I’ll report back with pics if the rippers don’t get her.

The dried buds before the cure have a turpentine/varnish smell at the forefront mixed with a “dutch weed smell” on the backend. I haven’t smoked any yet because it still needs to cure.

I am growing the same clone outside at 44° North. It stretched quite a bit and is now showing the first signs of flower formation today, July 23, 2024.

She tastes like Wintergreen gum. I’m keeping her.

nearly 51 degrees north latitude

Friesland indica from SSSC

In my case, none of the 4 female plants showed either early flowering nor a quick end … For my latitude, this cross is not suitable!
I believe that after crossing with Karel’s Dank, - Friesland lost its benefits for Outdoor at my latitude.
It seems to me that in f1 crosses Friesland X K-Dank (which is now trading SSC called Friesland Indica) its early and rapid properties have become recessive (as when crossing Auto X not Auto)
It would be interesting to pollinate them with an early (and perhaps even Semi-Auto) father.
Most likely, it would return the signs that have now become recessive and even increased the energy of crosses by adding third-party genetics (K-dank)
