Same same, just for funs.
Schmalztenore is the order of the day.
Not long til up potting!
Something unusual…
What appear to be two sets of true leaves without a growing tip. I wonder how long it will live?
Interesting about the one with no growth tip.
I had a pepper plant do that this year, but it never went anywhere, and died soon after.
I know it’s way too early, but the only way to save it may be to top it
If you leave then, I think that it will survive and grow very well.
Happened to me three times and they were fine.
being a very inbred line I would expect to see some mutants and deformities here and there.
If there are nodes below it I would top it as well. It may trigger growth or it will simply die off.
The others are picking up speed and looking very nice
I’ll let it go a little while, there are 11 others after all. It does have secondary growth showing.
Hey @GREANDAL - regarding your trifoliate, if it turns out to be female I have some male tri pollen you could experiment with. And if it’s a male, I have a female tri you could pollinate providing it re-veges.
Mine are M/F siblings at BC1/F3, so getting toward inbred, and at least would make hella F1’s.
Interesting! I don’t mind playing around with that, we can try it anyway. I don’t know that trilobate symmetry has anything to offer other than novelty. I seem to remember reading somewhere it’s actually a percentage loss to yield but still fascinating.
Coolio, 52 degree has my interest.
Yea, pure novelty, but interesting. The trait rarely breeds true.
I’ve heard both more yield and less with them, so it’s hard to know what to expect. I’ve had tri growth before, but never that persisted into maturity like both of these - usually they seem to revert to normal branching after a couple nodes, at least in my experience.
Edit: Pic for good measure.
Man @Shevchenko you have magic power I think LOL
They look good
Mine are not so big yet but going well. I will have pics today.
thanks mate!
they are like that because they know that I love them! ha ha
and if seriously, then they are under 400 watts for half the day. LED, and the other half of the day they stand under daylight lamps, that’s probably why they are in such a hurry…
please tell me what lighting mode they have now?
14:30/9:30 I try to get them to show without going full on.
I put the males on 18/6 in another location.
did men show autoflowering? did I understand correctly?
No no, I take the male out from the 14:30/9:30 tent and put it in another tent with longer time just now because it shows.
It is a fast strain obviously.
