I donāt know about that price, it can be hacked together at home for much less.
Hell, for ~$200 you can build a bigger hydraulic press.
But thatās me. I often rather would build it than pay someone else to do it mildly better.

What all do you need to build a basic press setup? A good friend of mine does alot of fabricating and seems to usually have just about everything around somewhere (minus the electronics to run one, unless thereās a way to do it without computer) I literally know next to nothing about rosin tech

He could easily make the plates and/or spring loaded cage, drill holes for heat and temp probes, then you just need the PID and heater inserts.

When I did it I had a glass tube that held six to eight oz dry ground. We would boil water, put it in a Pyrex dish and float another, then blast into that, we did the water thing in order to get rid of excess butane faster as fast as possible cause we would put six cans through. We ended up making ozs of the stuff and vacuum purging in a small vacuum oven. Dangerous af though. Was very lucky and did not ignite once. Now itās a felony

@nefrella , Iām not sure the context. But hereās a recipe for canna capsulesā¦ infuse coconut oil, cool it in a fridge and load it in gelatin capsules. You can buy them by the thousands. Iām sure you can work dosage out, but I believe coco oil is more bio available and kicks in quickerā¦food for thought

I make an ethanol tincture, evaporate off the ethanol, then warm some MCT coconut oil and mix in with the cannabis oil, then I use a micro pipette to fill size ā00ā gelatin capsules.
Iāve played with infusing into the coconut oil itself but I havenāt gotten it down to the same potency. When extracting in oil I found maybe 2/3 potency. Hard to say without measuring. I did find the coconut oil to be key though, not only does it make dispensing easier, I often take them on an empty stomach plus I have a low fat diet, so I found adding the oil to be better than say filling the caps with ground decarbded flower.
I have tried decarbing in the coconut oil, to preserve terpenes lost but I couldnāt quite get it working. Once I am in full production here I plan to do a lot more tests!
I have a weird drug metabolism, but I get results reliably around 30min, and effects last 3-4 hours. Others have reported 4-6 hours.

Sounds about the same, though I usually add hot not boiling water. Tube Iāve been using lately is the ss one holds around 120 to144 grams fully packed. Been doing 4 to 5 cans though have been tempted to do 6 just to see if it makes a difference. Hot water definitely seems to help it boil off quicker, I was always told you want the water to be aroud 90 degrees F (supposedly going higher temp could cause violent reaction)
Due to having neighbors I usually have to try to Time blasting with not having people stopping outside to smoke or doing fires.(once had to pick up everything and run to other side of yard when neighbors got home from bar around 3am and decided to throw a bonfire ā¦scared the fuck outta me as I was 2 cans in already when they showed up).

Nice! At some point Iād like in invest in getting a press but aside from money wise my other delima would be having space to put it somewhere depending on size
Try coconut oil and herb into a crock pot, let it go on low for 8-12 hours. Let it cool a bit and while wearing gloves, squeeze out as much as you can.
Then put it back in the crock with a few cups of water for like an hour or so to get the excess chlorophyll and water solubles to come out. You can do this wash a few times if you want, it just keeps cleaning it, after 3 is when you stop seeing a change though. After the wash you can skim as much of the coconut oil off and chill the water to solidify the last bit. I like to run it through a coffee filter too, it gets any remaining suspended solids like trichrome heads and dust.
I put it in the 00 caps too, 2 and Iām lit like a lamp.

Whereās best place to find the 00g capsules at a low price? Have been wanting to make cannacaps for a while but didnāt have new empties and was nervous about using capsules that were originally for other products due to possible confusion.
