I got their nursery pack @Who. You do not get the handles, but you save money. That is what I did. Even with my bad shoulder and thumb, they are not too hard to move.
@Old-Ron how far along are those. Im thinking of popping a few here real soon. Not sure how long I want to veg them though. Been a long time since I’ve grown haze.
They germinated in the pucks on June 13th / 15th. I would say they are 6 to 7 weeks at this point.
The Everyday Haze runs around 70 days. I normally put it in darkness around day 67. The Hawaiian Haze is about the same.
How long are you going to veg them?
I moved them to the flower tent last night. Previously I have vegged them anywhere from 8 weeks to 12 weeks.
@lefthandseeds. I have 6 of your Acapulco Gold going. All are pretty consistent.
There is one different one. Did you have any that looked like this?
Much more compact than the others. Some difference in the leaves.
Those were sent to me by another member, an old guy, who reproduced them. So I can’t tell you too much about it other than that. He was a sativa lover and sent me a bunch of stuff, because it was becoming too difficult for him to grow. I haven’t seen him online in quite a while now, unfortunately.
My experience with it though was taller varities. I didn’t get any that were short at the time, but I have only grown a couple AG years ago (maybe 2017 or 2018?) from a Bodhi/Woodstock pack.
That is what I have experienced. I found it interesting and wanted to see if you had grown any of these and found one. I will definitely keep an eye on it. Could be an interesting pheno.
Yea unfortunately I can’t tell you much. I know the guy was already in his 80s before the pandemic started… hope he’s doing ok.
What I can tell you is that the panama haze I grew was from him, still in Ace packaging. I know he was using an Acapulco Gold male, because he sent me an empty marker with seeds in it labelled Panama Haze x Acapulco Gold. I grew one, and it was the spitting image of the AG I had grown before, with the same distinctive ‘burnt popcorn’ flavor, mango/carrot smells (to me anyway) and more airy buds than PH. Panama haze also only comes in fems, and the seeds in the marker were more round and spherical like PH seeds. The pack he had labelled AG looked the same as my AG seeds, small, more slender and more tear drop shaped.
It’s possible that he could have been growing a male of another variety at the time that cross pollinated, but he was already facing a lot of challenges as it was, so I’d honestly be kinda surprised.
I appreciate all the information. I had had to look back in my records to make sure nothing got mixed. Maybe it is exactly what you said.
The other 5 match the description you gave and I have experienced. Will be interesting to see how this grows and looks in another month.
I crossed an Everyday Haze male with one of my Hawaiian Haze females. Finally growing some out.
I named it Island Daze.
This was her on the 9th of April.
Looks very nice. I wish I could have crossed my everyday haze with my Maui mango haze but no such luck.
One of my Everday Haze grows I had 4 plants have big airy football size buds like yours.
I’ve got 3 going and they’re all a bit different but interesting in their own ways. They smell fantastic.
Mine did too. I ran a large group of them. Had some twins too. They all smelled great, but were lots of differences.
I think the one that’s foxtailing like crazy is my favourite, at least so far. It’s just so different from what I’m used to seeing.
There are some interesting traits I saw. This female from the cross, is growing more like the Everyday Haze in my opinion.
It looks great. It’s hard for me to see the comparison though because I trained the shit out of mine whereas yours seem more naturally structured.
I am letting this one grow. I wanted to see what the natural structure would be.
Looking forward to seeing how she turns out.
I haven’t tried my Maui mango haze yet but it looks very nice.
