hi all i decided it was time for a new forum home and signed up tother day and been reading lots of threads and diaries and seems a chilled vibe which is what i like!
so basics are im a old fart who grows weed but cant have tents or anything obvious in the house so for the last 10 plus years i have been growing as stealthy as possible using small converted wardrobes smallish lighting and great care given to use carbon filtration and neutradol ensuring no great stink in the house and a happy missus!
i grow partly for myself for smoking even though im not meant to due to copd but i been a pothead since age of 16 and am nearly 60 now so not going to quit now,dont drink or use any other recreational drugs anymore.
i am also growing for making oil for my missus tina who is disabled and suffers great pain and the oil helps somewhat and reduces her need for opiates.
at the moment i have 3 converted drobes one is a small veg cab used mostly for clones and germing seeds and has diy wetroom and diy 6 bulb cfl lamp and 100mm extraction and carbon filter.
the second drobe is bigger at 1mtr x 0.75 mtr has diy climate control and choice of hps/mh or quantum led all lights are 250w it has 150mm rvk and flower garden cf.
it has diy built glassfibre run to waste tray and draws fresh air directly from outdoor via a filter.
the 3rd drobe is smaller but has the most stable climate for some reason i have yet to fathom and has been in use 8 years unchanged other than filters so is sort of the old faithful! she is painted inside with thick coat of quality yacht varnish then lined with fire retardant boiler insulation.
uses 250w mh/hps has 125mm rvk and rhino pro cf and has a simple run to waste into res hidden from sight.
all my plants are run only ever in coco no added stuff just good quality buffered coco coir.
i use 9 uk ltr airpots and all are run to waste or rtw for simplicity and run off is used to feed my vegetables and fruit trees,
most of the strains i grow are barneys farm because i was sponsored by them and have been growing out 20 odd strains 2 at a time for quite a while and heres some pics finally!
