Yesterday marked day 14 since the Jalisco Landrace seeds hit water and gifted us all a 10/10 germination rate which I have to say makes me think rather highly of the folks at The Landrace Team where I got these beans!
I’ve sent them an email of thanks with images as proof and now I’m gonna be sending them updates via email as I’m their only client that is corresponded with any growth reports for their Jaliscos!! 
Here they are in all their majesty before they got watered and then a few hours later up-potted.
Last week I mixed up their medium so that the biochar had a chance to charge-up, and so the dyno-myco could start to grow and spread into the mass. The blended mix of “PromixBX, Worm Castings, Biochar, Perlite, Dolomitic Lime, Basalt Dust, Insect frass & dyno-myco” were mixed by hand until even and then pressed firm into a sealable bin.
Yesterday when I opened it there was a nice Earthy aroma and “dots” of mycorrhizae appearing on the surface… I was very pleased!

The real fun starts from here in my “plant chemist’s cave”. 
Each pot has medium in it already, with a formed hole made from pressing in a solocup so the resulting hole is the same size as the speedcup’s mass so essentially the plant is treated like a large plug.
For the 14 days these little senior and senioritas have been alive they have been basking under 24/0 at a PPFD of 215 and been fed only a *filtered water mix containing Grotek’s Gro-Silic (Monosilic Acid), Biolabs Inc’s Harvest Miracle (copper), and Canna’s Rhizotonic.
The results speak for themselves here:
All the up-potting and plant manipulation was done while the sounds of Mariachi music played throughout the basement to make these little-ones feel welcome in their new home. I took my time so it felt rather Zen taking an hour to do this start to finish 
.
I moved the speaker closer to the tent, sparked on the light and then carried them in one by one… and yes in order of plant # because i’m a “psychopath”.
They look rather dapper in their new home while the 4x4 finishes up. The images above and both the “Mexi-Skulls”, one which is Lava, the other from Mexico City and painted in the Dia de los Muertos style, on either side of the redundancy thermometer/hygrometer really bring the room together like a pissed-upon rug.

That’s one of my favorites. I just love everything Tarantino does. I don’t know why. He just frickin’cracks me up. Always get a charge out of the opening scene where he and Clooney are robbing the gas station. If you look closely, when Clooney starts the fire. All the popcorn that has landed on the floor starts popping. Ha!

Upped the SF2000 in the Jalisco’s 2x4 tent to 50% yesterday, will adjust to 600 μmols at lights on tonight for the next week and then gradually up to 925 μmols over the following week.
When the 4x4 is prepped and ready all i can hope is that these plants don’t need excessive topping to fit the space.

Likewise! And Robert Rodriguez as director too - his work became hit-or-miss by the mid-2000’s (IMO), but he had a couple real gems in the 90’s. Desperado, anyone? (really the whole “Tortilla Western” / Mariachi Trilogy).
