Awesome bit of info mate 
I’m not a fan of paper towels either, once they sink they go straight into soil, fresh seeds I usually just drop into a shotglass with tap water, great results so far. I will probably crack out the germination bomb for some mango sativa seeds near the end of the year, free up some space over summer and run a whole heap of them, got a whole heap of other gear to get through too and some of my own crosses
