I went to his soccer camp as an adolescent, he was very serious about us learning well. It was not a foo foo overnite playtime kinda thing. 1 week, hardcore, military style workouts - 2 a days, everyday, and a tourney the last day. Helped make me who I am today.
A few geordies come really close. Kevin keegan, Alan shearer, Paul Gascoigne, Peter Beardsley.

Keep an eye on Callum Wilson. In my own personal opinion the best player in the world at the minute when he’s fit.
If I was to choose the best tactical player I’d say Maradona 100% although he was a cheating bastard 
I saw Maradona play more than the most recent dudes, he was a sight when he was at the top.
The Man was a total legend. He was the “god” of football BUT the “Hand if God” fucked us over.
Ronaldinho was also amazing. You never knew where the ball was gonna go. The ball control was out of this world.
For me, Ronaldinho when he was at his peak is incredible to watch individual skills, and Brasil when they are at their best, are the best team to watch.
