A couple more rounds do this setup will be dialed in! I’m glad it’s going well!
The more dissolved o2 the better. The roots should start to fish bone when they get nice and healthy. She could be re growing roots if there was root rot, on top of flowering so she’s having to do a lot. I could be wrong but it’s a possibility. I do recall adding about 50-100ppm of cal mag even with my tap water, I’m not sure what yours consists of but it helped me. I never added much in hopes to prevent any lockouts.
They usually need a PK boost the first couple weeks of flower. Just rambling on don’t mind me!

Didnt eat as much today as yesterday.
What makes the edges of new growth leaves curl under?
670ppm, 5.82 pH

Generally ph will cause most curling issues, however other def will cause similar issues too. Immobile elements show more so on newer growth.
This might help to navigate you’re way a little better.

Anybody know what these white specs are?
I suspect that they are salts that precipitated out the nutrient solution. They dissipate into nothing when touched, cant “feel” them at all.
ppm was up around 700, and it was due for a res change tomorrow anyway so I did the res change today. While I was at it, I got 2 buckets of pH’d water and dunked the roots up and down in the rinse water for a while.
Put it all back together, pH 5.62, 470ppm.
This was about 3 hours later, she looked happy, I think…

Overnight the nutes are 470 ppm and 5.9 pH. Temp stays dead on 68 as long as ambient is below 70F which is not an issue this time of year. Letting it ride.
Decided to spread the branches today to open up the inner stem area. Dont want any fuzzy junk growing in there, plus I wanted to start spreading her out in anticipation of putting up the trellis net. I do have 2 oscillating fans blowing through it.

She is eating and drinking.
Keeping it just 500 ppm right now, allowing the pH to surf between 5.6 and 6.3
Applied yoyos to spread the branches. That is the last bit of stress that I will intentionally introduce.
She got a little stressed, but I think she will be fine.
Is 1000 ppfd at 18 inches below the light a decent amount of light? I think @Alaskagrown may have been right, 100% seems too much, the leaves start sagging. I backed it off to 75% and I am getting 900-1000 ppfd across the top of the canopy.
Shot from the top to show off bud sites, hope they grow out fully…

OK, she looked bad this morning.Looking at the chart above, and my plant, I am guessing that it is deficiencies rather than lock out. I changed the Res on Saturday, nutes were at 470, have kept it there until today. I bumped the ppm up to 600.

I’m here rooting for her recovery, bud

After upping the nutes to 570, and giving her a 4 hour nap, she is looking happier.

Sorry to see the issues you had. She was def hungry. When you brought the nutes down last week it cleared any lock out you might have had. She looks to be about 2-3weks into flower so she went through a P-K spike. She should fair well with the increased food. Have you switched completely to bloom nutes? Glad you have it under control my friend.
1000 ppfd is well enough. If you remove 1/3 of the lower vegetation(leaves & branches), it will make for more solid buds. The lower ones tend to be really fluffy from lack of light.
If you use co2 you can push it to over 1100 ppfd.

Yes, last Res change was all Bloom.
Hardly under control or this would not have happened. Nonetheless, I “think” I am starting to get that intuition thing back.

The last picture you showed looks like she’s happy again. You have done no harm. If anything there will be a slightly smaller yield from the issues. It usually takes a few to get dialed in, you’ve done well! Keep that intuition, you’ve got this!

Welcome back and I hope you have a great first grow, it’s looking pretty nice and I am new to the OG community and am using an old phototron for my second grow. Look forward to updates

I did think talk about it but i did prefer not manifest because i’m noob and sometimes you want to help but not do it, but i agree with you… and more air will circulate throght off the plant… My first prune was terrifying… i was afraid to kill the plant but she will be benefited by that and will like

LOL, if nothing else I do know what “happy” looks like, and I am learning a lot about what it doesnt look like.

She still looks happy, but also malnourished. Going to bump the ppm up to 625

Between evaporation and her drinking I am losing about a gallon of water a day. So overnight the ppm climbs as more water than nutrients is being used. This morning the ppm was at 677, but the plant looked happy so I let it ride. Still seeing some signs of deficiency though, hoping they will clear up in the next day or two.
