First Time (growing legal that is)!

Yeah bro, just went down to check on them at sunrise and was amazed how good they look! I DID crank the LED’s uP the other day to a hair over 3/4 of the way to the top end. I’m trying to hold off on transplanting them as long as I can. THCeed’s Pina Cheese are getting me excited!

Hey, I received a gift in the mail. Thanks! Did you ever receive the 2nd airmail I sent after the new powieseeds? I mailed them at the same time. Hoping they all got there okay.

I have been fine tuning powie pink. If everything goes as planned the next generation will be purple-pink. Grew like 100 total looking for the 1 or two darkest. First 50 I got 1 male, weirdly the 1 male was so dark top to bottom I wanted that strain. i tossed the other 49 less special guys and girls. Second round (only using the black seeds with a white belly button) and 40 youngsyers later, I have three pink colored teen girls to go with the pollen from the exotic pollen from round 1.

I can’t wait to get those plants grown and seeds out. Calling them powie pink dark seed.

I also got M&F Maui cherry bomb, plat city soul, black razz, and an oil spill that is pollinating itself, (hermie).

I have two big girls of your bankok strain going. Will be perfect weather soon to grow them outside here. I will keep you in the know on everything of course.

Great they arrived! The (Mac1 x AVC) x Hawaiian Orange Soda were just for fun…Had some extra pollen left and lots of those Mac’s. The Ori. KD KT
are direct from KD…we’ve all come to the conclusion there was some Indica crossed into them at some point in time (no doubt KD’s been meeting foreigners visiting the island for decades!). Hope something good pops uP!

Unfortunately, no, no second envelope has showed up here (yet!). Keeping my fingers crossed! I have to remember to take a closer look at the seeds before I plant 'em and try to separate them by color to see if I can follow up. Powie Pink Dark sounds great! I’m gonna have to put in some more of the P. Pinks, think I got 2 out of 6 last try.

BIG THANKS again for all the beans you have sent! Yours have been some of my favorites, as well as the most trouble-free in terms of mold issues. Really gonna be putting them through the test the next month or 3, just started drizzling here this morning.

Another ‘catch-up’ day around here. Sorting out the E&F table a bit more, setting up materials for a greenhouse re-build and repotting a lot more stock.

The Sherbanger x Purple Punches @Drsunshinestrains are way out in front of everybody else this flowering round! First one is on the pinched plant. The X-mas tree plants are yielding a lot more weight, but the colas are really dense…the pinched plant’s buds, while much smaller, are also probably a lot less prone to budrot.

Here are the unpinched S x PP in Big bags…

Found yet another male Baja Blast I was hoping it’d grow out of it but spotted more balls on 3-4 branches today…Gonna get the chop tomorrow morning.

Bro Science cont. Hoping this’ll be worth all the effort?

E&F setup…

I gave the tiny little seeded God’s Timewarp another going over for beans tonight…looks like just over 125 mature seeds with probably another 10-20 still developing. Not bad for a 20" tall 1-Cola plant! :joy:

The Powie Poisons are starting to thicken up a bit now, but a good 2-3 weeks behind the Sherbangers. Most of the Soulmates are a week or two behind the PP’s. Corey Heime x Blue Kush are all over the calendar! Getting to the point where I’m gonna have to throw up my hands on the HST/LST any day now…just too much mucking around trying to keep up twice a day.

@slain I haven’t forgotten the Orange Brush flower seed bro! The first round of flowering was really light and I didn’t find any seed produced. But they have just started putting out a second flush and it looks much better now that we’re getting some rains.

Okay, time for a little more trim jail!

Yet another Sunday in the books!

Chocolate Sapotes - I had a good laugh when mentioned to my staff that I couldn’t figure out why the one tree in the 3-gallon pot was twice the size of the largest one in 15" (6 gallon) pots? (and 4X the size of most of the rest of them). One of the guys pointed out that I planted it directly in our LS Ganja mix rather than our ‘normal’ nursery stock mix! :joy: Makes me feel good about our mix!

Meanwhile, that area is starting to fill in with more and more ganja plants in 3 gallon pots…again! Been trying to make more room to ‘work’ on the plants in the E&F tables. So as long as they’re not budding out yet, after transplanting to the 3 gallon pots they can hang out outside.

That leaves me with enough space to get at them better. Not having a light meter and really never having grown ‘under lights’ I’ve been using the LEDs I bought from the going-out-of-business grow-op at half power. A few days ago I decided to crank 'em uP to 3/4 power and I’m blown away at the difference! Wish I hadn’t waited so long!

@BobbyBudz

@Tuned

Up in the Upper Greenhouse things are flowering away!

@BobbyBudz

@Drsunshinestrains The Sherbangers x Purple Punch are putting on weight now!

I decided to take it easy today so didn’t make the supply run I had planned to do. Still need a few more lengths of 3/4" PVC to hook up the E&F table, as well as a small pump. I bought a bunch of 1.75" Steel pipe to use as uprights for a new greenhouse roof extension project but fk’ed uP and had one cut about 8-10" too short! Damn! Still have to re-plastic the new E&F table greenhouse as well. Gonna be a busy week!

My Doc’s taking a week off so I gain back a Tuesday for a change, which will help a bit. I really want to get both greenhouses up and running soon as I’ve been reluctant to put in any more of the great beans I’ve received lately for fear of not having enough room under cover for monsoon. Will see what I can do about that!

Okay, hope everybody is having a great weekend! See you soon!

Another busy day! Managed to pick up the piping for the E&F table, a new digital timer and we got the table plumbing finished up. Still need to find a low-flow 220V pump, but didn’t feel like driving all around the island today.

We also set the three upright pipes in concrete for the new greenhouse roof structure today. Found a few more males and chopped 'em. Hanging on to a nicely formed Soulmate male for pollination of one of the many females.

Speaking of which, I checked up on the Corey Heime x Blue Kush male that’s been draped over a female for a few days now. I think this is bound to be one of my heaviest seeded plants this season! The male has been just dumping on her!

And the Bro Science project is cranking along…though I saw a shitload of whitefly on her today! One and Done tomorrow!

That’s all I shot for today!

Im looking at your tables and they look they’re built with the same pipe as the greenhouse. Did you build this @Tlander ?

Yobro, yep my foreman and I have put together a few of these now since all my other big steel pipe greenhouses are now about 15 years old and collapsing on themselves! I think what you’re seeing is the water-delivery system which is made out of 3/4" PVC, same as the roof structure. I think I used 1" for the added vertical support poles. The roof structure in 3/4" PVC is a bit ‘floppy’ in high winds, but the high point has steel support…the ‘new’ structure we’re working on now is steel pipe and box steel.

I’m hoping we can somehow remove the roofing plastic attachment bars from the old greenhouse roofs and reuse them…but it’s gonna be tough to get at them. The old greenhouses are still packed full of nursery stock and half the uprights have rusted out!

Bit of a worry - yesterday I was informed that someone who has been buying up all the surrounding land (like 1,000 acres+) in the area has expressed an interest in buying the leased land (about 3 acres) my nursery is on! That would suck…possibly, unless they want to buy all the nursery stock too! Even so, don’t have a clue what I’d do at this point in my life! Let’s see what the future brings.

Another pretty spectacular day!

One tray left of the Carpentaria Palms!

Another Nepenthes plant finds a new home.

New E&F table progress…still haven’t had time to go find a pump, but the other E&F tables needed thinning out, so these new transplants will just get hand watered for a few days.

Upper greenhouse

And a little bud-candy

Tiny little Mantis guarding one of the Sherbangers!

Had to chop the God’s Timewarp tonight. I just can’t let this one go moldy!

And the first Powie Wowie trying to create one of those ‘stacked’ leaves! @BobbyBudz

Made some more progress on the new greenhouse roof structure. Yanked a bunch more males. I’m starting to drive myself a bit crazy trying to hang onto so many males and keep 'em isolated…spotted 2 more male Roof '95’s today, chopped 2 more Baja Blast males, stashed another Soulmate male and found 3 hermies. Unfortunately, 3 of the 6 Pina Cheese @THCeed have declared as males as well…still watching the others.

Okay, gotta get some paperwork done tonight so that’s it for now. Hope you guys have a great week! :call_me_hand:

You are so Diligent @Tlander !

Seriously you need a round of applause for the daily discoveries and fantastic McGyver-Grower things that you set in motion…

You truly help me n OG stay ahead of the Cart Brother!

Too bad about the Roof95 (god’s timewarp & sherbanger = yowza!)

WOW bro I love it all!
What a view!! hope its not to wet for ya.
Raining all day up here.
You are really getting a ton of stuff done!!

Excellent work on all the plants, Those sherbangers are looking incredible!! That little mantis is so cool! That time warp is really close as it is…
The baha is one I don’t have of @bobbybuds and I wish I did. Hahahah
Haven’t seen any of the mutations on his stuff yet but Im gonna have to investigate a bit harder in the next few days.

The ebb and flow table looks pimp! we bought all of our pumps off of shoppe and have had pretty good luck with them. They deliver pretty fast if you choose a local seller.
Hand watering aint that bad for a few days tho.

Sorry to hear about the vultures trying to get your spot, Hopefully they will move on.

Keep on keeping on!

Cheers bro!

That is sad news, sorry to hear that.

Hump day! Decided I’m tired of flexing 3/4" PVC pipe structures when there’s still time to spare! Picked up a bunch of 1"x2" box steel and another gallon of white paint today. Gave it three coats (so far) and think it’ll need another one or two tomorrow…progress! Was just about finished when one of the guys mentioned that we were down to the last 4 pieces of the 3-gallon white-painted pots, so knocked out another 10 before sunset.

A couple more bromeliad flowers going off…

Tried out a new form of smoking…calling it the “Burning Bush”! One of the Peshawars that never made it to the end…Couldn’t really tell if I got stoned off of it…smoked too many other things!

Here’s a couple of the Powie Poisons. Gonna be some small nugs, but I’m fine with that!

And the Sherb’s…

I had to go back after sunset to try a few ‘after dark’ shots…my cell phone cam sucks!

Yanked another 5 males today and found another hermie. One of them (males) was another of the Pina Cheese, that’s 4 of 6 now! Re-re-organized everything in the Upper Greenhouse again so that all the thickest budded plants are getting the full force of the hurricane fans. Have only found a few tip-buds on the Powie’s that had a touch of budrot. Forgot all about cutting the male Corey Heime x Blue Kush male…I want to try to collect some pollen as there’s a massive amount still. I gave the male a shake over the female this morning and had to go back home and shower & change clothes!

That’s about it for tonight! I’ll see how far we get with the new greenhouse roof structure tomorrow.

Haa, haa, haa! I agree, especially as they were some of the best looking plants of the whole bunch! Well, one of the two remaining is female and I have high hopes for the other. Would love to be able to make seeds, so I’m hanging on to a couple of the best looking males. I definitely want to try to revisit these. Good thing was these only had a very short vegg cycle and flowered out in 1 gallon airpots, so there wasn’t a lot of time and materials. Thanks!

Phew, loooong day! Making progress though! The winds switched around 180 degrees today…hoping that’s not the start of monsoon season! But it’s just around the corner anyway. This new covered space will be really useful in a few weeks. We cut all the oil palm leaves over the area yesterday and it was scorching hot trying to work out there today!

Cranking the LED’s up to 3/4 power has really made a huge difference! Now I’m wondering what would happen if I go all the way? Just loving the way these youngsters are looking.

Didn’t have time for pics today. Chopped 2 Powie Poisons that while small were ready. Moved the pollinated Corey Heime x Blue Kush back into preggie row in the upper greenhouse. Spotted a lot of beans on the Powie Poison x God’s Timewarp as well as two small patches of budrot…will harvest them tomorrow.

I gotta prep a couple ‘Care’ packages for friends tonight and get a few cards ready. Hopefully see you all tomorrow!
