First Time (growing legal that is)!

@Tlander . Your pictures bring me joy everyday. Thank you! And to the rest of you fellows, by reading this entire thread ( more than once) I have seen you all change and form a brotherhood. I have truely enjoyed seeing that happen. Peace. :rainbow:

Evening Sir!

Do you grow Seeds that are Feminized?

Thanks guys! I often wonder if I’m wasting my time with all the up/downloading every day, so it’s great to hear it’s not wasted!

There are 3 Colombian Gold x Cobra Lips all in the palm grove. I wish I had them in unfiltered sunlight, but at the time of the transplant to the 15 gallon bags we were still in the drought/hot time of year and I was afraid they would just melt out in the full sun. The pictured one is the farthest along (and in the spot that gets more sun than the other two). All three are similar in stature. No real smells developing yet, that I can detect.

Yep, @Magu definitely a Band of Brothers thing going on! I can’t imaging growing with out the OG crew! Seeing as I’m unlikely to ever meet 99.9% of you in person (Guess who’s the .1% @Drsunshinestrains !) it’s amazing that I feel you’re some of my best friends I have! So a BIG THANK YOU to you all! A little over a year ago the medical professionals had me convinced I wouldn’t be around to see the fall harvest! Now it looks like that fall harvest, and all those since, is what’s been keeping me alive! So another thanks to all of you who have encouraged me to fight through it by your showing up, sending beans and commenting back! Means a lot to my survival!

When I have them! Which hasn’t been very frequently. There was a point in the last month or so that I was getting pretty worried at the number of males I was chucking (or keeping uP the driveway for later use!)…but looking around I don’t know what I would have done had they all been females!

Ok with that said, I can now send you a clutch of AG seeds (fem buddy)

Its the one Strain that has me completely Baffled, as to why it is Not ever around…

I have two strains going Now (nukeheads / barneys farm), both Fems. Cannot wait. pics are from last week, there is a fresh visit today after dinner

The plant looks great! Keep me in mind when/ if you get that “bi batch of seeds to share out” I’d love to try it down here in the mid atlantic.

I thoroughly enjoy your updates. I’ve been lurking hard without much chatter. I love the abundance of varieties always being grown and explored into your garden.

Hope you had a great weekend brotha and looking forward to the next update! :sunglasses: :vulcan_salute:

Thanksbro! But I missed Budderton’s giveaway by 30 minutes! Almost dawn here now! It was a good weekend but my Sunday got derailed…buddy dropped by and we started ‘sampling’! Got so wrapped up in doing things I forgot to take any pictures!

Well, I DID snap a couple of the Black Rosewood seedlings (taller back 2 rows) and the Chocolate Sapotes (shorter front 2 rows)! I was feeling bad as I’d kind of neglected them for a while…so cleared a new area, weeded, mulched and moved 'em. This week they’ll all get transplanted.

I’ll try to do better on the photos today!

G’mornin’ @THCeed ! :coffee:

Well, got one row of Black Rosewoods transplanted and half a row of Chocolate Sapotes. I don’t remember ‘why’, but the mix they were in wasn’t very good! They should explode in a week or two!

Meanwhile, the upper greenhouse had some big changes today! We had showers overnight and today about 3 pm it got black and unloaded! I worked for a hour in the greenhouse where I was, but wanted to check the upper as the West side is insect cloth and also loaded with BIG BUD plants right now. But the downpour was so heavy I just had to keep finding more stuff to transplant where I was. When it finally let up enough for me to check, the buds on that side had gotten heavily misted. I’ve known I’m pushing the limits on how far we can go without mold setting in, but keep saying “one more day”! So had to set in trimming off loads of fan leaves and cranking the hurricane fan uP to #2. Spotted a little budrot on one Powie Poison and a bit more on a A New Hope x Cobra Lips and hopefully ‘pinched it in the bud’! Moved everybody “East” away from the screen and left the fan on force II w/a prayer!

And some plant shots…

Tomorrow’s gonna be busy! We start tearing off the gutters and gutter boxes on a friend’s house up the mountain…I’ve got the contractor I’ve worked with many times before, so shouldn’t be too much hassle. But still going to have to check in every day for a month! Then I will have to check on the upper greenhouse to see it we have “One more day” or not! The Lemon Grove plants are getting soaked, but there’s only a couple with thick enough buds to matter. The Palm Grove plants are likewise getting soaked but the Peshawars almost all have tall cages and should be okay. All depends on the weatherman.

Damn, I’d been putting off re-re-pollinating a few things, but at the same time have been worried about the 6 remaining males I have stashed away. Guess this afternoon’s downpour settled the question!

Well, the sun just set and after the rains the flying termites are out in force! Million of them! Time to shut down everything and enjoy the peace & quiet …and dark! Have a great day!

Okay, a couple more Non-bud shots today… First two are an indigenous Thai orchid, Dendrobium farmeri

The next ones are all Hoya species. I love how as they open their flowers they all fit together like an M.C. Escher drawing!

The woman I hired as a housekeeper for my friends’ place 10 years ago swears to me that this was a male papaya tree growing beside the staircase.

A while back she decided to drive a wooden stake into it like Dracula!

Well, can’t argue with the results! :joy:

Took down the seeded SFV x Baja Blast tonight. Plant looked great but on doing a standing on-the-plant trim it’s a tough one to trim. Very open structure to the buds. Also took down the Lemon Slush @Budderton …hardest nug-rocks of any plant I’ve grown! I’m amazed at the density…it’s like trying to squeeze a golf ball! I seeded out the other Lemon Slush and really hope it’s chocked full of beans!

Rains didn’t do much damage, though I did see a lot of pistils shift to red/brown today. Left about 4-5 more ‘big’ plants for 'one more day"! Took the last of the Sherbanger x Purple Punch pollen and re-hit the Mac1 x Ashava Valley Cheese with it (for the second time). The male Old Silver Thai was showing it’s balls today and I decided, after discussion w/Upstate, to chop about 80% of it, leaving 4 tops to flower out. Kind of a balancing act as the upper greenhouse chock full of females is only about 5 meters away! I plan on plucking a few flowers for immediate use on the female and then chopping the male asap! Still have one Peshawar Joe male, one A New Hope x Cobra Lips, one Hawaiian Orange Soda male, one Baja Blast male and one Strange Fruit x Joker’s Candy. Got the rest of the Black Rosewood trees transplanted and another 8-10 of the Chocolate Sapotes too. There’s only 5 plants left in the E&F tables and I cut off half the lights today…feels pretty lonely in there now!

Okay, that’s it for today. Hopefully more to look at tomorrow!

Right on TL! Glad to hear the Lemon Slush turned out for you and didn’t rot on you! I hope it smokes nice or makes a nice batch of rso. Love the orchard pics too! The orchard I’ve kept for 6 yrs is starting to grow little mushrooms in the substrate again.

Another day of transplanting trees, bit of ferting, a couple more chops. Everything’s holding up under the force II fan but it was the first day it was obvious that a lot of pistils are shifting to dark mode. In the end I just chopped another seeded Lemon Slush @Budderton and squeezed 200+ seeds out of the first 2 of the 6 buds/colas!

Cut a single bud of Baja Blast that was looking like it’d be molded by tomorrow morning. Trimmed up another 2-3 plants in the upper greenhouse and decided to go for ‘one more day’ on them!

Went ahead and chopped the Old Silver Thai @Upstate back to just 6 top branches and it looks like the balls will pop by tomorrow. I’ll be down at first light to check! Decided to hit up the 2 Baja Blasts one more time today and I think I hit 'em both uP pretty good!

Okay, dinner time! Have a great one guys and gals!

Here’s an odd story…of course it’s from The Daily Mail so who knows? " Farmers in Oklahoma are warning residents about cannabis farms owned by China-backed heavily armed workers using phony Amazon trucks."

Had to do a bunch more shifting around in the upper greenhouse this morning. Looks like today’s the day for the Strange Fruit x Joker’s Candy, one of the Group A’s and one Powie Poison. The Durban Hercules OG x Bubblegum is just about there too, but I think it can handle a couple more 'one-more-day’s!

I’m thinking that since there’s only a handful of plants left in the E&F tables, I’ll try moving the older hurricane fan up to the upper greenhouse in the diagonal corner from the big one. Bud’s are just getting too thick to expect one fan to do the job! (By the way, the majority of these plants are not yet 3 months old from germination!)

Finally got ALL the Chocolate Sapotes and the Black Rosewood trees transplanted, mulched down and watered in!
