Thanks, the TK needs tweaking but I’m hoping I got it figured out for the next run. She is a nute hog for sure and pissy about the wet/dry cycle from what I’ve seen. The buds still smell amazing though and I’m stoked to get to try it finally. Took me awhile of hunting before I finally got her.
Looks awesome brother!!Trinity and wedding cake throwing down hard!
Looks great as usual @FirstCavApache64 , Weed whisperer.
beautiful plants! Is that a pipe cleaner rope in the last pic holding up your top bud?
Yup, I strip off the loose fuzzy stuff on em and use them for support. I need to grab some coated wire from the garden center as that’s what I really like to use but my wife works at Walmart and it’s easy for her to grab the pipe cleaners.
the wedding cake sure has an interesting shape. maybe its the angle, but looks flat and fat like a sunflower.
don’t let the haters naysay your pipe cleaners. i like them because they are out of place yet still 100% functional

Your BD looks nice. Who are those seeds from.
They are from Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds Co and were called Blue Dream Extreme. They were some of the first seeds I ever bought back in 2017 or so when I first started growing. I’m not sure if that company is even around anymore. This was the last seed of the pack so I took a clone of it before flip to keep around if the smoke turns out well. I just recently got the Santa Cruz Blue Dream cut and once I flower that out I’ll decide which one to keep.
+1 for out of place objects
I use shishkebab bbq skewers to stake branches down for LST. It’s awesomely functional -D
i approve this message.
sounds like it would work great
I’ve used old welding rods and chopped up coat hangers for the same thing. I try to use stuff I have around the house where I can. I have bricks and cinderblocks that I use for plant stands and old metal buckets that came with popcorn in them from Walmart to raise up the shorter plants to proper canopy height. Keeping equipment costs down means more money to buy clones which is nice.
I’m not hating on the pipe cleaners oh no. I love hillbilly ingenuity. Most of everything I do is not the norm. Hell I don’t have a tent it’s a corner of a room with panda plastic and a tarp lol.
@raintoday the skewers work great! Use them to aerate the soil, hold sticky traps and support even.
ha! i thought i was the only one re-using these. i use them for plants stands AND storing 20lb sacks of rice.
We get them during the after Christmas sale and then get 10% off for her employee discount so they’re usually around 3-4 bucks. Way cheaper than legit plant stands.
I use the skewers to aerate the root zone as well. Once a week I do 5 or 6 holes and each half of the plant. I use small pots that get packed with roots and it seems to help.
i know you weren’t h8ing and had no intent to. you’re cool buddy.
kind of a (sarcastic) joke that followed us over from RIU. pretty sure firstcav caught it.
vast majority of my grow spaces are made with re-purposed/recycled materials.
making macguyver proud!
mine work out to aerate too, because I’m always moving them around fussing over the plant and adapting as it grows:rofl:
Garage sale fishing rods. Broken ones usually free since it’s just a piece. The eyes are perfect to attach branches to.
Ask me how I know this @crownpoodle
I figured you weren’t implying anything bad Lol I was just jumping in with more hillbilly gardening!
