FirstCavApache64 ongoing grow journal and pollen chucks

I wrapped up a couple small things outside and watered well. My irrigation is working, I’m gonna hide from the first heat wave.

Looks like a good time to do quality control testing of some buds and crank up the AC. I feel bad for the people out West, they’ve been cooking out there recently.

These are nice looking plants. You and @Carty are inspiring me to make a serious run at the Autos I have. Stoked to have some good directions for a starting point and good genetics. Couple tips. It’ll be interesting as some will run in the tent on 18/6 and some will run outside. At this point with tents up and running smoothly, there’s little pressure on the yard to produce. Anything not up to snuff, is butter bin anyways. Got 3 gallons of alcohol to attempt some extraction when I have enough…2#s of coconut oil used up all my trim and small bud…

It’s been fun running these autos as I had run clone only stuff mostly for the last 2 years. I need to mix up some more tincture myself soon. It really helps get me through the day as I don’t like to smoke before all my work/chores are done for the day.

If I need some tips on the extract I might hit you up.

All 7 autos are flowering now with the Nurple plants about 2 weeks ahead of The Anvil. Did some cleanup on the lowers to improve airflow and eliminate the larfy stuff down low. Hope everyone has a great Father’s day and your gardens are doing well.

Planted this hydrangea 20 years ago and it’s 12 feet across now.

All your plants are beautiful. The blue on the hydrangea is gorgeous.
Hope you’re having a great weekend.

Thanks man! The acidic ph of this crappy mountain soil is what brings out the color in the hydrangea plants. My barn cats love to use them for shade and pop out to scare me when I walk by. Had some of your honey with my biscuits this morning, damn that stuff is good.

I’m so happy today. We’ve been roasting in the house all week with temps in the 90s outside. Grabbed 2 window unit AC’s and got them installed this morning right in time for the 99 degree day we’re expecting. Hopefully this will get the tent temps down from the 85 degrees they’ve seen the last few days and get it much more comfortable for sleeping.

The autos are doing really well and I have 2 out of 3 purple phenos showing for the Nurple strain. My wife is really excited for the purple phenos as they’re great for nausea. The 4 Anvil are flowering and look to be finishing stretch.
I’ll post some plant pics tonight once I get done with watering.
Stay cool and hydrated.

Finally got time for some final defoliation and pics. The Nurple plants are starting to chunk up and they’re looking very nice so far. The Anvil are done stretching and hope to see some nice purple buds swelling on them soon. The new AC units have made life way more comfortable for the plants temp wise with tent temps around 79-82 which is where I like to see them.
Hope y’all are surviving this heat and your plants are thriving.

autos looking good. stacking up nicely.

how’s the shoulder? feeling better?

pleased to see abuela’s cut still alive in your garden. hope you and the missus like the smoke and it helps with y’alls ailments.

The shoulder is functional, which is a big improvement. Abuelas cut is close to 3’ tall now and very healthy. What’s the stretch like on her?

functional shoulder is good. do you use ice packs?

it is not a significant stretch. very indica. 3-4"
don’t be afraid to top and LST or supercrop. responds well to all.

Once this heat calms down some I’d be happy to send you some snips brother. Just let me know once it’s cool enough to survive the trip.

i will definitely take you up on your offer come this fall. you have a few in your stable that have my interest peaked. many to be hit with some GDP pollen.

you warned me this would happen.

Flower tent is getting stinky. Smells like rotten fruit and Welch’s grape juice with some kind of nasty funk on the backend. Plants look good with some mild bleaching of the tops as I get used to this new Phlizon light. So far I’m impressed with the Phlizon light. Much better spread than the Quantum board it replaced and it looks like very nice canopy penetration leaving dense nugs 15" down from the tops. Thanks again for the contest win @PhlizonGrowLight
We had a nice 2 day break from the high temps but it’s gonna get hot for the rest of the week. Hope everyone is doing great and looking forward to the holiday weekend coming up.
