So, @Jetdro, here’s an introduction to Gorilla Grove, a fortuitous cross by @floyd & @JustSumTomatoes. The goto insomnia CannaMed Orange Grove, crossed with the best RIL rendition of Gorilla Glue. This is one of those lucky crosses that pushes good genetics into legend. Jus my $0.02.
Here’s a Gorilla Grove nearing harvest in my room. This plant only had three weeks of veg and is now approaching 11 weeks flower. Those trics are 95% cloudy, buds still bulking. Not a spec of amber yet. Harvest next week. Grown in an Octopuppy on Jacks, I’m guessing 3 zips of top shelf.

I am low on the F1s been just cloning and growing the same cut for awhile now. Bit shorter flowering period on this cut.
Also still not feeling great. Chest cough that comes and goes.

Im glad you like it. I lucked out getting the tall lanky version of the Orange Grove. From what I understand it doesnt show up that often. And I had the GG4 pollen on hand. So things worked out.

That’s one more piece of the puzzle… I grew a bunch of Orange Grove and never saw the tall pheno! Worth noting.
Was the GG4 RIL you used to make GG outstanding?

Chest still hurts on and off. And I get dizzy/ nausea in spells. Get worn out easily.
Been going on for a month now. Wife still has a cough too. Hoping we will be better soon. Tis the season to be jolly.

Of all the Orange Grove crosses I’ve seen this one has been the most steller so I totally agree with those words. This one is on my to pop list for sure! With a little work it could become its own classic strain.
I’ve only seen one myself and it finished a week before the others, yielded lower, and was horribly weak to mold outdoors. It was less leafy and had more of a fruity skittles smell and taste with a bit burnt rubber, unlike most others which fell somewhere on the spectrum of orange and citrus. I also noticed it was the only Orange Grove which stood above the others slightly in potency, all others of which where consistently strong (which is uncommon in orange strains.)
It’s a more rare pheno but I now see it’s the best one. Obviously a great breeder too. I noticed that it had more narrow leaves than the others early on. Gonna have to dig through them to find that one again.
