One time deal. I was kind of hoping I’d want to reach for it first, but nope. It’s just going to sit there for 18 months until I remember it again.
I’ve bought hash a few times on the grey market and was disappointed. And they texted me sales for months until I made them stop.
Hmm…can I use a rosin press and heated plates to press my hash at specific temps/pressures? Not that I’m trying to clone this product. Just curious.

For sure man! I think pretty much every press has a temperature control. Not every press has a pressure guage though, those are usually a little more pricey.
I’ve never pressed hash, just flower, but I’ve seen people press hash and have it come out looking rather amazing, and sometimes even like pure THCA crystals.
The hash from your picture doesn’t look like it was pressed to me, unless they did it without a filter bag.

Yah, I like to press the 90 micron bubble in a 25 micron sack at 64C. The rosin press can definitely crank out thca crystals with those parameters.

I’ve seen some of the great result from squishing hash.
I guess my point is that in candy making temperature is everything and was curious what temp and pressure with a mould would be good to squeeze out a slab of black hash.
And Mrs Foreigner might want us to get a press…

$350 and not far from me. I’ve been looking at this for a while but cannot justify the cost myself. If you’re interested I’d consider splitting this as we’re not far from each other for swapping it back and forth. 
That is IF this is usable for rosin pressing.

I’ve got many researches to do before I consider it a real viable idea for my purposes. Mrs Foreigner seems to like the vape pens so I’m down that rabbit hole.
I was thinking one with a hydraulic press. I bet it makes cool robot sounds.
If/when I get one we can figure out a way how to get what you need pressed, pressed

I found out you can apparently extract resin from decarbed bud and trim using straight PG in a slow cooker. Heat for 3 to 4 hrs stirring occasionally then strain through cheese cloth. Measure remaining PG and mix with the same quantity of VG.
You can add in a flavour concentrate…or may some terps. Fill a vape tank and hopefully it’ll work 
According to some random article I came across the lab trial got a 95% extraction using straight PG but only around 10% using straight VG…thinking it’s gotta be worth a go. I make a deadly canna butter from decarbed larf using the slow cooker so it’ll work…I recon

For my notes -
1g 25u bubble decarbed at 200F for 1 hour
Shredded with coffee grinder
Added 30 ml PG
Let soak for awhile. Currently 6 hours.
Next step is to strain and see what we’ve got:

That should do the job. Need to heat it to speed up the absorption otherwise it’ll take a couple of months.
