I sometimes tell Mrs Foreigner she’s allowed one crazy per trip. Going to one of these places would count as a crazy.
I think the crazy we will end up doing is sunrise balloon ride over archaeological pyramids/city site. That sounds like a better crazy.

When I was 7, 1977, I went to Peru and crawled deep into a pyramid…the one in downtown Lima… that was a few years before they boarded them up and locked everyone out. There was a stairway that was nearly vertical and which (being only 7 uears old) I ould barely squeeze through… Deep in the pyramid was a small air tube that you could look out during daytime and see the Orion star system. It was pretty damned cool

I once smoked a joint on a top of an unexcavated pyramid. But they’d plopped a cell phone tower on top of it. So this story could also be: I smoked under a cell phone tower.

When we used to have Halloween parties for our neighborhood, i would wear a foam turkey decoy as a hat.
I saw that Albatross can find thier way from anywhere on the planet. Some taken up to 4000 miles returned home in 17 days.
