Fortman's Fiasco's, Bumbles and works in Progress

@methodanon, I’m usually only away for 50 hrs max for work so its not bad. This said when vacation rolls around could be upto 2 weeks. But thats not for within the next 4 months.

For buckets I have 1/2/3/5 gal to choose from but just to help control size will be going 1-2 max

Along with all the little things I’ve been doing in the grow I wanted to try Air Layering. I had originally place 4 on different plants and 1 didn’t make it as I felt it was weak. The ones that did continue to grow were of the Spencer’s Gift, Shellcatcher, Island Crippy. Of the 3 that made it Spencer’s Gift root system what easily with the most growth

Next was Shellcatcher

Lastly the Island Crippy which looked the best of upper growth but root development was lacking but I place this on fault on me as I wasn’t watering often as I wanted to test if it could still grow on limited moisture.

I’ve clipped the 3 plants off there donar plants and will now push them like normal clones to see how they respond for growth on roots and foliar.

Just a quick report on the Air Layered cuttings I planted into the living soil I have. Theyre all doing very well no wilt like the first day a showing the start of new foliage

From here I have a Pineapple Express and a Grape Crinkle x Fire OG in some home made solo cups that I’ve drilled 1 hole in each of them to try my hand a Hempy bucket solo grow. Using Jacks 321 nutrients ph set to 6.0 about 180ppm. The seedling are really enjoying the Perilite home. Im buying a mechanical watering timer to run the mini pump so I can automate when and the frequency of my feedings in the future so make sure the girls never starve or dryout too much

I used a measuring cup to test the volume of the container and its approximately 600 so I filled the cup up with 500ml of water and marked the line on the inside of this cups, then refilled with Perilite to level.
