So just got back last night and the plants look wonderful, #2 is a little shorter then #1 and #3. They hall have a similar smell and growth structure but #3 seams to be the overall winner so far.
There is good and bad news, they are showing sex now…. But they are all females. That means this is the second seed run in a row from franchise where all survivors were female. That just goes to show you what kind of luck I have. If I was doing a bud run they would be males.
I’ve been cloning like this lately because my aero cloner has been failing me more often then not, and this way seams to be working extremely well and it’s very easy to do when you have a lot going on.
I take those small seed starting trays with the square holes fill them with seed starter mix. Wet it down, stick a clone in each one and into a freezer bag. Mist the sides and fill it up with air like a balloon. I leave it closed up for a couple days. Then replace the air in it for four days after that. Then just harden them off until you can leave them out of the bag all the time. Then when I see a root or two sticking out of the bottom they get transplanted into solos
Quick update on the ladies. Not much excitement happening yet but they are chugging along. I want to at least keep a weekly update when I’m home so everyone knows where we are at.
I’ve been topping and leaf plucking here and there to try and slow them down a bit until the clones are good and strong. lol I don’t want them to get too out of hand
The ladies are moving right along. Not much to report yet. The clones I took were slow as hell to root, they lost a lot of colour. Trying to bring them back around now.
This strain is pretty special, I’ve only grown alien og and it was really good but lacked dankness. Was more of a very clean pine cone smell a taste but this one should be pretty rank with some chem.
