Is that in an outdoor garden or tent? Full disclosure, I don’t have time to read it at this exact moment

I believe the controlled study was done in an enclosed grow space.

Update: I’m likely wrong on this point - the BLOG stated the UC study involved a heavily infested rosebush from the “landscape” - so “Outdoor”

Seeing a lot of repeated references to them being able to eat 50-aphids per day… I don’t see studies referenced so these may be circular references “confirming” themselves (?) I have also seen a “recommended release rate of 1500 x 500 sq ft” but again, haven’t seen the study confirming, .

One would think, but it isn’t. I just read it and The anecdotes they describe are “releasing ladybugs on 2 rosebushes in a landscape” and in open garden applications.
This would explain the need for so many bugs… because it’s nature and they move if they can.
In a tent, the outcome would be very different
Also more of a blog post than a study

Sorry for the lack of updates, just got home. I can’t find any aphids after several applications of the insecticidal soap but a couple of the plants have leaf damage. I’m not sure if it was from the aphids or applications of soap. I’m hoping the clear up. The new growth looks good and they are getting pretty big. @DougDawson sent me some Sts so we can finally get this on the road.

Here’s the female Gummo

Here’s the hopefully reversed female. So far has 2 applications of Sts, 5 days apart and under 12/12 still no sign of changing but some of the leaves don’t look happy

I love the old cartoons from the 60s and 70s, those are real cartoons. Not the bullshit they try to pass off today as cartoons at all.:partying_face::partying_face::star_struck::facepunch::+1::wink::sunglasses::turkey::tada::peace_symbol:

I fully agree there! Even 80’s and early 90’s were great. But anything in the last 25-30 years :poop:

I just rewatched 101 Dalmations, Aristocrats, and Lady and the Tramp, as well as Mary Poppins… there’s a sense of wonder to them that you just don’t see anymore

Very true, my friend.

I remember loving those classics so much on VHS back then.

I don’t think my childhood would’ve been the same without a lot of those movies and cartoons!

Nice, I concur. I was actually watching Fievel Goes West the other day with my son, we both sat there mesmerized for an hour, those old classics really were the epitome of childrens cartoons etc.

Two of the plants fell over and they took a beating but the reversal was a success. Ive been plucking clusters drying a bit and knocking some of the pollen on to the females. There’s definitely not as much pollen as I’m used to so fingers crossed it’s viable.
