Spoke with said Nephew this afternoon in Thailand. He’s going to be staying in-country for a couple of MORE years. He agreed to my plan, I’ll Direct Deposit monthly into his Account, he’ll purchase local seeds from MULTIPLE locations, mail every 2 - 3 months. Should be a good deal for us both, I’ll keep the OG’ers who indicated an interest posted. @Upstate will the FIRST person receiving Thai/Asian seeds as he FIRST mentioned the idea. Depending on the amount received, the Trade Winds might be a’blowin’, fingers crossed. ALL, SS/BW…mister

If its Ok with everybody at $20 a piece, I think 10 is a good number. If I forgot anyone that expressed interest earlier, we’ll make room for you. Now…who wants to grow some RKS!!! Caution…this is NOT a prohibition friendly strain. It will reek to High Heaven( pun intended) and this must be taken into account.

I really hate to be a downer here, but if these are the RKS seeds from ftsgenetics on strainly, they are reproductions of Heime Cheeba’s RKS. Todd’s selling them for half the price, although here you get 12 instead of 10. FYI, I’ve briefly talked with both JJ and Todd about these, as well as another lesser known grower, and all say it is skunky, but not eye watering by any means. I’ve also been told the high isn’t the strongest… I hope you guys find the real thing in these, and I’m sorry to deflate anyone’s expectations, but i just thought I’d caution folks from getting their hopes up too high.

You never know until you grow them! One thing that’s encouraging is that everyone who’s grown them so far seems to say they are definitely old-school. That tells me it is likely to be as legit as anything out there. People might have just blown up the smell and effect in their memories… But then again, maybe you just have to hunt, and maybe ftsgenetics found excellent plants in their batch of seeds. Either way, it’s worth adding to the collection. I hope this group is able to find and preserve the real deal roadkill skunk… There’s a certain reliability here i think.

Fts says the roadkill pheno is in there. He did mention the words eye watering too… may have to grow a bunch of next generation plants to find it though. Probably like any other relatively unworked line. You have to dig for the gold. Here are his words…

Thanks for the info. I’m still excited. I’m not easily discouraged by the prospect of having to look hard to find what I’m looking for. So this JJ…is he selling the rks now for 100/pack? Sounds like the rks we are getting has been pheno hunted a bit…and his has not? Is that right?

@Chronickyle dont get discouraged from someones opinion of a company… Everyone has their bias. Personally i think you should go with it and see for yourself. Just keep putting positive vibes into your grow and she will make you happy

@Chronickyle I’ve grown their afghan kush and also their Thai and maybe 1 other. The Thai was not very Thai, but the afghan kush was really pretty good and had authentic kush flavor. Can’t really say if it was authentic or not, but I would personally grow it again.

You better get yourself a super charged filtration unit or wait for legalization on that one! Texas dont mess around! Safety first. You’ll get some seeds tho buddy, assuming all goes well. I’ll put you down for some of what I get from the repro. .I just hope you dont pop them right away.

@Upstate is right, I know they get most of their stuff on strainly and Instagram. I too have found some of their sources for their Transkei, Lesotho, Baluchistan, and just got those from the source. I’ve been talking to them for awhile, they kinda shat on Realseedcompany saying they don’t grow their own just procure it. They’re asking me for Mexican Red Hair and ABC because they saw me mention it in my insta, they also know I’d probably have legit genetics because I search high and low which is why they trust me enough to ask. I don’t think they lie about legitimacy, I just think they’re finessing on prices and pushing the narrative that they’re all over trying to get these seeds when they’re really just getting them online like the rest of us. They’re like an urban outfitters of Landrace seeds but they do make it convenient in that they take away the work of doing extensive search to find these genetics.

Yup. They are full of shit in some instances, but not all instances. Easy to spot the holes in their story. For instance, their Malawi photos were taken in Malawi…by Moxex Nganda, a local Malawi farmer. And he hand selected seeds from the best plants, the Kalingina pheno tests at up to 26% thc. He’s had it tested. The sad part? He is there to give local farmers skunk, and kush, which is what they want. Needless to say, the landrace won’t exist in that area for long . Better collect it now, regardless of what seed seller it comes from. The Landrace Team made it sound as if they were there themselves, and they were not. All the info about Malawi on the site comes from Moxex. I try to separate myself from how I feel about the attitudes or morals of some of the owners of some of these companies. ( really just these guys)I just like the seeds, and due to lack of competitors, I buy from them. There is no time to be fussy about their business practice. You all remember this photo from my conversations with Moxex?
This is also who they got their Uganda landrace from.
