So many of us in the same boat. I know I would be fine never buying another seed, and just “shopping” from my own seed inventory but I keep seeing things I think I want/need.
Just looking at a few more from RSC but talked myself down.

Well it seems inebriated Billy has been doing purchasing for me. I got 12 Malawi seeds in the mail today. Good news it came with 12 Parvati seeds i have been eyeballing. I am good with seed stock for 2021. Now to make more seeds.

After re-reading this entry, I checked my “Log Book”. It indicates I have “1969 Skunk #18”. What the heck is that??? If it’s ANYTHING potentially noteworthy, I can shoot it your way, Too close to neighbors to be running “Funk City”. SS/BW…mister

I would bet it is a Uncle Fester’s Skunk 18 from Master Thai. In his writings he talks about them growing it from the late 60s. Many people have used it for F2s, and renames. They normally or often keep the Skunk 18 tag.
I did not find Skunk when I ran it but have heard some people have. I probably just did not run enough to find that pheno. I only had three females and one male. The male did have a nice skunky smell to the stem rub.
From the females I got smells of eucalyptus, marjoram, garlic, and fruit. Not skunky but nice unique plants.
I do plan to hunt them again at one point so they may be a good addition to any skunk hunt!

Too bad we are all over the world. We could have a skunk contest. Skunkiest title. Best skunk of the year… Kind of like hi times cannabis cup but skunk only. Imagine if we could mail in our entries lol

I did a brief bit of reading on original skunk, and apparently, it didn’t always smell like skunk…?Generally fruity and some smells I dont recall…but probably what @Comacus just listed. Is this where garlic bud came from? I’ll have to read more about it. The name skunk was used for marketing, apparently. Obviously, there must have been a skunky pheno or it wouldn’t have had that name but I was very surprised to learn that the skunk smell was not the only smell.
@misterbee …sounds like an old gem you have there. Surely they would perform well in Maine, wouldn’t they? Too cold? I’d love to go thru your stash box/boxes on a rainy day! When I was a kid my cousin and I would go thru great grandpas tackle box, and contemplate how each lure would perform. Fond memories.
