Are those your puntas? Look amazing! Nice dense buds for a pure sativa wow.

Thank you

Yes I was surprised how big and close the buds are. They’re dense for sativa I agree but not rocks. They look a little like Red Snake which is in line with what I expect. They’re only small because I’ve had a chokehold on them.

I hadn’t realized this and am really surprised this was the decision. Pretty sure Gerry sold out of all his stock earlier this year too.

Does this mean one OG Coo-op run to earn the overgrower badge or just one FBSC run?

I saw no upside in arguing with them.

That does look good.

Thanks man! It’s pretty killer smoke too. The early one is pretty stout old school narco stone, tomato eyes and big ass grin. Tasty and oily.

That last row you did was pretty amazing.

Well thank you, do you mean the Bloody Monsters?

This one. I haven’t seen it grown. Some say it’s slightly contaminated…flowering time says it could be a pure one. I’d love to see it grown.

Just one Freakers run. We dropped the " you need an Overgrower badge rule.

Well then… I’m planning two open pollinations that would probably qualify. Just have to wait and see if I can have 10 plants at a time.

So do you all vote on what gets grown? I was contemplating a OP on Manga Rosa or Federation Hawaiian Sativa this winter.

Is there like a hazing ritual? Snort a line of pollen or eat a bowl of hermie seeds

I’d be lying if I said I had no concerns about purity. Cannabiogen lists a 16-22 week flowering time. 12 weeks is way less than the low end and is REALLY low for a pure Punto. Right where you’d expect if an 8 week male hit a 16 week Punto Rojo. Personally I’d leave that early plant out of the repro to be safe, or keep seeds separate at the least.
With that said, the Punto looks nearly like my Panama Red shorties…and if they are the same strain( I think they’re different now…with Panama Red being pure Punto × Indica) it’s certainly possible to select faster plants. 4 weeks faster, I don’t know. That would take many years. It’s possible the flowering time listed by Cannabiogen was the flowering time until no new pistils came out. Depends. I’ve personally only had no stretch in flower experiences with hybrids ( cabeca de negro, Panama Red, Durban by Cannabiogen ( Durban poison is a hybrid, and Cannabiogen has selected faster more Indica plants) Pure Satty’s stretch regardless of container size. I have 4 foot Durbans in a half gallon pot…
Not sure what to think, and I wasn’t going to say anything to be polite… until I got a pm expressing proper concerns. I’ve always spoken up because purity is more important than anything else when it comes to Preservation, so there you go. I had to point out the Elephant in the room.
Would I still want seeds? Damn straight! But if I were attempting to breed pure landrace lines, I’d avoid the fast plant(s) and keep them for a great headstash instead.

I’d be down to see that:rofl::sweat_smile::rofl:

Whose counting😁 maybe you are a poor mathematician lol. 5/10…same thing right?

I have segregated the seeds of course. The possibility has been on my mind for a while.

The other plants are still going despite the fade as you can see and are structurally different. Longer calyxes and fuel/lime odors.

I think letting a brother know you think he might be mistaken is also polite.
