Its crazy what those in the industry have decided to chargeā¦ Some elite clones go for 10,000. 10K! USD! Madness. When I worked in a clone room we sold for 5 bux each and made huge profits so I feel these turkeys are robbing people blind and getting away with itā¦Home depot would sell a pack of 6 clones for less than 10bux and still remain profitable so it is a scam for sure. If you ran a grow op and wanted the latest greatest it might be worth it but as an individual growerā¦ no way in hell. Yet growing from seeds takes a good 4-6 months of time space and utilities so I do see some cost benefit. I paid an ok price for some elite heirlooms and I am 100% satisfied.

My friend paid 2k for a clone of Gary payton and sold over 40 clones for 200. Do the math.

I absolutely see the benefit of buying clones at times. It normally takes me 9-12 months for the final decision on seed plants for what clone Iām keeping. Itās space and time for sure.
Big difference between personal grow and commercial grow and how things get valued. On commercial side it pays for its self really fast. Personal grow the price only makes sense if itās your desert island weed

Lots of time I go without to support my hobbies or addictions. I donāt buy much in the way of new clothes. Lately I havenāt been going out to eat or getting takeout. I go to the food bank when I stretch my money too far (though I am considerate when I go.) I also donāt have any friends, children, or partners to spend money on currently. My biggest expense might be christmas for my mother.
Everything else right now goes to seeds, grow gear, my compulsions, etc. Will I see a return on this? I donāt know. But itās what makes me happy.
