Sounds awesome @ Instg8ter would love to try some out, save some for me please for a future trade…I have 8 79MauwiWowiCherryBomb plants going starting 12/12
today will be selecting the best male and 2 females to pollinate,i have another 9 strains going including clones of RugburnOG and SourTangie .Have a list on my indoor thread i will be doing strain runs as well as some cross pollinating of my fav males and females of the 10 strains. Will also be running 4 auto strains and doing seed runs of them as well as using a few of the photoperiod strains with the auto strains. Will be doing ongoing projects all through my long winter here.
Your garden sounds like my perpetual grow. Gotta love having a harvest every month and a chance to create some interesting crosses with the plants on different grow schedules…I’ll forward a list after i shuck these seeds in a few weeks…
Sounds awesome.I am working my way to a perpetual grow. From mid December on i will be cranking out the seeds.Love being legal to grow 350 plants and plan on using it to the max lol
That is a lot of plants my friend. Here we are allowed 12 per person, and if you are a designated caregiver you can grow 12 for them also, and you can have up to 5 patients, so the max you can have here is 72 plants. I will definitely be keeping an eye on your grow journal
Here in Canada you can qualify to grow up to 500 plants…It cost me $ 500 for a year to grow 350 plants and i can carry around 150g of dry bud a day.Well worth paying to be legal…Here in Canada anyone can get approved as long as you have not had a drug conviction in 10 years…I paid 500 to a company called Canada Cannabis, they then set me up with a registered doctor .Have a 10minute video call said i had back pain and insomnia ,doctor says your approved.Mails you a perscription.Send that and the forms for health canada and they have to approve you and issue license.I may pay another 250 and get it upgraded to 500 plants. But 350 was more than enough to get me going and more than enough to care for lol
My state went from 6 plants per person when we voted to legalize it, down to 3 after some complaints about competition to the commercial growers. Yet after 4 years, we are just about to start our first legal recreational sales on Oct 9th.
I just get written permission (name, Lic #, Tel contact, label plants with said info) and go from there. Stay safe/be well.
Does that count if I’m not a caretaker?
At least I have three adults in the household, plus only a 3x3 space to bloom in (for now) so can’t really do much more than 9 plants anyway.
I’m NOT sure, but that’s how a lot of Mainers get around the unfair change in number allowed. I think they have MORE important things to focus on OTHER THAN this. Just DON’T broadcast or post pictures of your plants all over Social Media. Stay safe/be well.
Yea I wouldn’t be posting a room full of plants lol. But at least I can set up a breeding tent later and just label it for my friends.
my bud has 20 plants going and has them all labeled with his families names. we started chopping them a few days ago. gave up on trimming. we now are just ripping leaves off and hanging. talk about work! these things are between 8-12ft and nearly as wide!
Yea I can only imagine how much work that will be! I guess there’s a reason they have those trimming machines, but things get really pricey real quick with all the special equipment/toys you can get for post harvest
aside from the monotony is quite satisfying ripping the leaves off. not nearly as frustrating trying to do a decent trim. when we got done last night, we had a pile of leaves about 2ft. high around our chairs.
that jamaican looks just like the pure skunk my uncle got that i grew out. has them little bud leafs on the colas, was a hermie tho, so i pulled mine early.
I have some Ancestrial Skunk I can’t wait to search through, is supposed to be the same genetics that The RKS came from. Also have a UFS 18 finishing up.
Been shucking some seeds from the Monkey Paw selective breeding, getting 40 per branch so I will be handing out some to start spreading the Paw around, I would like for people who have tasted the Original to do first grows and give an opinion as to what they remember from this regional favorite. Until I get a male of either AG or CG to back cross some trip weed back into it this is what I have.
Goal:
Original Monkey Paw (Acapulco Gold x Columbian Gold x Afghani Kush) unknown percentages.
What I am starting with:
Brutal Paw (Original Monkey Paw x Katsu Kush x Tom Hill Deep Chunk)
New hybrids:
x Dirty Margarita (Dirty Girl x Strawberry Hawaiian)
Or
x Blue Mnt. x Lambs Breath x Columbian Gold
I am hoping that during the x-mas Mexican run I will have some AG and CG pollen to start a back crossing program to the original or close. Also @monkeyman has a run going of a Sativa pheno Brutal Paw and a male to re-populate theBrutal Paw Sativa phenos…I’ll have some packs in the next few weeks, those who have tasted the Original PM me and I’ll get a few of each out for testing. Any beans left will be offered after and more will be coming down the pipe…
This is a super cool project. I’m interested to see what yall can do with it. The regional heirloom stuff strikes something in me. I’m. Looking forward to a better buzz with less bag appeal. After all, it’s all about the buzz/medical effect right?
I have some of the purple paralyzer from Colorado, and I can’t wait to run some of it.
sadly, the male didnt make it, I didnt have room for that at the time and I had to chop it. The next time that happens I will call you up and have you drive over and pick up that unwanted male since you live a few blocks away basically lol, but I do have a juicy sativa pheno female and a deep chunk pheno female also of the Brutal Paw that are getting close to harvest.
I’m looking for pure sativa seeds, either landrace/heirloom or a worked sativa line that hasn’t had indica or WLD genes introduced to the genepool. It’s for a breeding project I want to start next run.
Unfortunately, I don’t have cannabis seeds to trade at the moment, but I do have rare/interesting trichocereus/san pedro cuttings (Bridgesii ss02 x peruvianus sera blue, Pachanoi ‘Los Gentiles’, and Peruvianus, Bridgesii, and Pachanoi hybrids) I’d love to trade. These are the mescalinic/entheogenic cacti like peyote–they contain the same alkaloids, but are not illegal to cultivate. They didn’t quite catch the same attention of authorities that Peyote did since they were never endemic or native to the US or northern Mexico. I also have a lot of nightshade seeds, Brugmansia, Datura, Belladonna, Henbane, Tobacco, etc. Nightshades are another passion of mine.
My entire garden was destroyed by California authorities when I moved here–apparently you cant bring plants in out of state. I had to take them all out of the uhual and dump them on the side of the road in Arizona. The cacti are all that remain, but they’re thriving at least!
