Free Seeds & Free Clones Thread Vol. 1 (Closed)

Living fly paper . wouldn’t want to smoke them (the bugs) but that’s hilarious! Like a sundew plant hehe. Actually, I was reading that butterwort plants (carnivorous) are like gnat magnets. they land on them and get stuck, becoming food for the plant.

They come off after the plants dried.

yes indeed - wash those buds folks!

I grow carnivorous plants and sundews (Drosera) are very effective fungus gnat control. Cape sundews are especially hardy and I would highly recommend them, even just as a fun windowsill plant.

I’ve water cured some branches before, but never heard of washing until I rediscovered OG

i’ve heard references, but the idea freaks me out

Smoking bird and bug poop freaks me out. I’ve also noticed an oily residue that washed off my outdoor buds. Yuck.

Edit: Not literally of course, because we’ve been smoking it for years. Every time I look in the bottom of the bucket after washing, I’m glad I did it.

There are some videos on yo tube. I think you mix water and hydrogen peroxide in one tub and just plain water in the other. A buddy of mine swears by it. I may give it a try this time :v:t4:

Something with baking soda, lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide in several different buckets. I’ve only gone indoors, but next season I’m putting some out on my friends property on a side of a small mountain/hill

From clone or seedlings? I’m thinking about sticking some seedlings, then add clones later on, I’ve read to put clones out on the summer solstice so they don’t start to bloom when stuck out in spring, then have to reveg.

From seedling. We had a really warm spring this year.

If they photo seeds it should matter. Summer solstice is the begin of going to 12/12 naturally. Right??

Seeds out in spring, clones at the solstice so they will start blooming as the days get shorter.
