Yes was happy to get it. Have a few seeds of crosses I was planning to run, but it’s always nice to have the early form of the genetics from a trusted source. The GG4 JW was the same, I tried to save a 3 year old infested neglected mother when he had to shut down through a divorce. Couldn’t save her but I got 15 viable cuts from over a hundred.
The Exodus was also a big old mother put out to pasture last year.

I’m pretty sure there were Mac seeds and then the macv2 there are a few crosses out right now , I have super lemon Mac there is also one called waiting game going around the California clubs atm.

I’ve heard of the lemon Mac, but I thought it may have been a cross. The post I read though my searches, he said he only had few seeds of that f1 line. He selected the cut known as Mac 1 (plant #6) after running the clones of the handful he grew. I thought That cut was the only one he released. In a post he mentioned He made an f2 using a similar male (plant #9), so Mac (6) x Mac (9) became Mac 69, but someone told me he never released it. Then came the Mac v2 release. All bits I’ve been told and what I’ve found through searches.

I thought I saw people post pics of Mac seed packs but could be wrong I don’t follow his Instagram to closely. I know I’ve been after caps cut for awile to compare to a supposed one I have and may have finally tracked a legit one down. I’ve also seen some super lemon Mac x Mac seeds at the clubs already. It might be hard to breed with but people are doing it and getting some killer results.

As long as mine make it to me, and the cuts of v2 I was told I could get, I’ll be making the v1 x v2 myself. Time will tell, plus time and space to do it… I need more space and tents!

Too many ideas! Running behind on one already! Be easier to just do a massive pollen run to store pollen to use as plants are available. Also, stop signing up for testers until I have another tent or two.

Any of the buds I’ve gotten from a dispensary has been lacking in the potency to me. or as someone said, the high was boring. Great bag appeal, aroma and flavor though. Reminds me of the old bulk BC bud we got back in the 2000s.
However, one time I got it from my guy, it was actually note worthy. so I think it was let to mature more vs the quick to harvest commercial growers. Just like any strain, there’s that sweet spot in the ripeness for each person. At first I kinda looked at it like any of the new offerings, just another cookie offering.

I like my bud a bit to the amber side with a month in the jar burping it to 60RU. Dispensaries are made to store at 10RU hard lava rocks with all the trichs brushed off with the kif through wet trimmer. I bought 4 grams of strains I was going to run and got 6 average joints of the dust from breaking with fingers. Never go there again.
