I was about the same way with cookie type strains. I never had a good one until I smoked @SamwellBB ’s Purple Poison Cookies and now his Wed Cake/Gelato x Dosido. I’m really impressed now. In his I get wonderful flavors of cookie or dough and chem. Th he latter one I crossed to one of 3 dads and it’s bringing the good flavors over in this one. It’s just now drying. Can’t wait to try it.
I haven’t tried the MAC yet, even from the dispensary. It seems to have a good rep for flavor doesn’t it? I guess most all new strains are mostly about the terps, huh? It’s what I’m looking for.

Yea, besides how frosty it was, the sweet smell is what I stands out to me. To me, it smells like fruit loops which I do like lol. On that note, a banana kush cross (from a seed found in a bag of banana kush) that smells like fruity pebbles and bubblegum, and just got a clone of fruity pebbles too lol.

Although I havnt searched them out along my seed gathering adventure I have been gifted a few Elite cuts this is the GG4 JW S1 just to test viability of S1 to establish a new mother.
I also have Clones of the Exodus Cheese (UK), MAC1 and hopefully an Unadulterated Humbolt SK1 cut that came down from the hills with an old hippie???..

It will be documented here against another 10 or so strains that are said to produce RKS phenos, or have it in the family tree. I’ll post a thread when they hit as I’ll have 7 -10 days in the rapid rooter to get seed down to keep pace. I would love it if others jump in for a “ Group Skunk Hunt “. I will list strains I am running and post a new thread to document or link it to The Jungle.

I had a strain from a friend a few years back that smelled exactly like a big bag of fresh Skittles. Unfortunately it lost the smell and it didn’t taste like them either.
That really blew me away. I sort of didn’t think any strain of weed could ever smell like a particular candy. Now I’m looking for terpy strains because I fully believe anything is possible with this plant.
I’ve had a few that smelled strongly of a certain aroma but disappeared before it was smokable. peace

Yea, The smell while it’s growing vs after drying is often night and day difference 
. Still good, but not the fruity that you’d hope. But if it smells like the fruit or w/e after drying, just hope the flavor stands through when smoking. Some you just have to vape to get the full nuances.
