Hey all! Loving the vibes here and starting to feel at home! Iā€™m on ICMag as ā€œthesearchā€, future4200 as ā€œpeasandlovageā€ reddit/nugswap as ā€œcannabisandthesearchā€, on facebook for a few trading groups as "Cannabisand Thesearch"and on discord as ā€œcannabisandthesearch#0522ā€
Iā€™m super new here, though I have browsed threads here many times in the past in my research of all things cannabis, and of course, had heard many stories of the glorious past here!
As a part of my introduction to the group, Iā€™d like to give away free seeds to anyone in Canada that requests from me, while reasonable supplies last (maybe first 30 requests or so!)
The strains I have to share in this capacity are:
-Purple Amnesia
Created by me in Victoria, BC in 2018
Crosses purps mom to amnesia haze dad. Tested outdoors by myself last summer. Flavours range from jammy fruit to eucalyptus, pine and sativa spice. High varies from sedative to slightly stimulating. Plants tend to have purpling, but not as purely purple as the mother. bud structure dominance is towards the amnesia haze, but because of this is virtually moldproof. Early september finish time.
-Mango Amnesia
Created by me in Victoria, BC in 2018
Crosses mango mom to amnesia haze dad. Tested outdoors by myself last summer. Flavours range from mango cream candy to eucalyptus, pine and sativa spice. High varies from sedative to slightly stimulating with some being quite strong. Bud structure dominance is towards the amnesia haze, also, and because of this is virtually moldproof. Early september finish time as well.
*Between these two amnesia strains, I have not seen any herm issues or any mold formation.
-Purple Mikeā€™s outdoor Moroccan mix
Single strain created on Quadra island BC, mixing several classic outdoor BC lines to Moroccan hashplant seeds obtained from Morocco
I have not run these seeds yet but will try for a couple this year still.

All seeds will come with labeled extras of indoor strains as well.

They are all 100% free and sent by snail mail but for Canada only atm.

You can use them to grow this year or next year, or use them as trade fodder, all fine with me as long as youā€™re grateful and spread the stoke!

Much love! Overgrow the gov!

Anyone for the kilimanjaro aka elephant stomper?

Kilimanjaro is a pure sativa landrace from the mountain slopes of Tanzania, where it was originally cultivated for use in hunting and religious practice by the native population. Tribes commonly referred to this strain as the ā€œelephant stomperā€ and utilized it for its energetic, hyper effects. Its aroma carries notes of lemony citrus and fruit, and Kilimanjaroā€™s tall growth makes it ideal for outdoor or greenhouse gardens.

What is Kilimanjaro?

Mount Kilimanjaro is the name of a dormant volcano found in Tanzania and is famously known for its standalone nature. Kilimanjaro landrace derives its name from the mountain slopes of Tanzania known for its Leptosol soil. Part of Mount Kilimanjaro is in Kenya and the strain is commonly found on the Kenyan slopes of Kilimanjaro and hills surrounding the area.

The Elephant Stomper

The natives commonly refer to it as the elephant stomper or elephant flattener due to its effects when consumed. This African sativa strain is known to produce a measure of euphoria and the native population of local tribes has cultivated it and used it for centuries.

Origins of Kilimanjaro

According to information from the World of Seeds, this sativa plant originates from the Kenyan side of the slopes of the Mount Kilimanjaro region. Research and studies indicate that resin yields from the buds are higher when grown to a level of 2.5m and above. Several strains have been developed from feminized seeds.

Attributes of Kilimanjaro Landrace

A cross-section of reviews indicates that it has the adaptability to be grown indoors. It has been found that they do well when grown outdoors and some are very seedy. A bountiful harvest may be expected out of its cultivation. These reviews may be subjective because scientific studies are ongoing on the subject.

Cultivation of Kilimanjaro Landraces

Cultivation of landraces does not follow strict protocols; however, there is a lot of concern about growing quick flowering plants indoors. There is a lot of collection of seeds and the cultivation of hybrids requires a lot of patience to breed and nurture. Reviews on cultivation mostly focus on potency and flavour.
