Badass. Thanks
I was thinking about getting one of them for my veg space. You canāt dial it down though, right?
How many watts output is that? I was thinking of an upgrade in total watt output but I am not sure if I would gain very much. My flower lighting is 300 watts total and it fills up my tent pretty nice with four plants.

Wow. I just finished 17 plants under 615 wattsā¦
I got lucky on that one. Son moved out New Years Eve so I got to claim the space and clear up some room in the basement. It worked out great as the central air canāt cool a grow space but I popped a window air conditioner in with an Inkbird controller so that room is perfectly climate controlled.
These FC models look bad ass. Mars really stepped up their game.
Actually I had 7 at one time in a 4 X 4 tent. 3 were autoflowers and weāre harvested when the 4 photos were about 3-4 weeks into flower. Those four have since filled the tent pretty much and are about a week until harvest. What I wonder is if I add some more wattage in the tent would I be doing myself any favors or just shooting myself in the foot.
Very nicely done man. Thatās so much better.
Iām depending on my living room AC and passive air intake to to get warm air outta the tent & out the window. In the summer itās stupid hot in my place since itās a brick building wraped in tin shingles.
Personally I went with par testing information more over higher watts. My old DIY light was 300w & this Mars light is 300w but I get better growth now. Go figure.
And 359 shipped mainland US isnāt bad at all for thatā¦ fuck Iāll have my tax return soon. But should I add this in? I really need to get that split AC installed.
Just barely fits inside my 3x3 tent. Clears it by just 2 inches on all sides lol
What the square footage? Iām in a 4x8 and filled it to the brim with a 315cmh in the center and my 2 ts1000 on the sides.
This is the whole reason I agreed to test Mars and Viparspectra. Too many people dump on lights and have no real clue how good or bad they are. I am at the end of my Mars test just about and can say to anyone that these things will do the job. Same with the Viparspectra, I see no reason this thing wonāt make a grower happy. I way over spent on my HLG and I am fine with that. I bought it for a few reasons including supporting a Cad company. Yes they are American but there is an HLG Canada. Itās just great to know you donāt have to break the bank to produce dank buds.
Like I said. I have 2 4x4 tents. 1 with 1 ts1000ā for vegging. And seems perfect for that. The other tent is 4x4 with 2 ts1000 lights. What I was really wondering is if I removed the two ts1000ās and replaced with a 600 watt unit, would I be better off?
FCE4800 480w 4x4 flower coverage $500
FC4800 480w 4x4 flower coverage $600ā¦
FCE6500 650w 5x5 flower coverage $769.
I still have trouble bringing myself to buy LED when you can get 600w and 1000w hps cool tube hood, ballast amd bulb for between $150-$200 and
MarsHydro should let me test one for them! Hahahaha!
If Marshydro letās me test any light, ever. Iād cry with happiness.
