Free Seeds & Free Clones Thread Vol. 5 (Part 5)

Ya benzos are literally EVERYWHERE! I can think of at least 15-16 people I know personally who are on those. Zombie pills we call them , :zombie:ā€ā™‚

I agree they are probably over prescribed.

The reason for the shift is that with barbiturates there is a fine line been a therapeutic dose and a lethal dose.

Benzos are still dangerous but youā€™ve got a bigger window.

I donā€™t even like them tbh.

Iā€™m not going into any ā€˜rantā€™ here but gotta toss in my two cents lol
Just my opinion, mind yas, But here it is. A lot of the barbituates are and were used for pain, any pains, etc we called em ā€˜downersā€™ back in the 70s. Folks get hooked on them really easily and any doc would toss em at you in a heartbeat.
I had to shut down a doctor that almost got my wife hooked by prescribing them so much for her pain. Sheā€™s had 41 surgical procedures in the 40 yrs weā€™ve been together. 7 if them in 10 days!
I just feel itā€™s better to treat the cause, rather than the symptoms.!
OK, Iā€™m off the soapboxā€¦ :rofl: :+1:

editā€¦ She has thanked me for stepping in when I did alsoā€¦

@DougDawson i pm you.

Yeah the 70ā€™s were definitely outrageous. I remember taking seconal back then that would take you two steps forward and three steps backwards. It was a different time. Always looking for the buzz. Pot, mescaline, reds, white crosses black mollies, peyote and shrooms. It was all fair game. Probly shoulda died.

When I came home from Nam in Dec '69, I did everything known to man, for a decade!

editā€¦ I still look back and just shake my head, because I canā€™t help but wonder how in the hell I managed to make it to now! lol

Thanks for being in the Nam, brother. I went into the Army in 1972 and all thru basic and AIT we were told we were headed to Vietnam. By the time I got out of AIT and Airborne training at Ft. Bragg, the war in Nam was winding down and troops were headed home. I ended up in Europe. Met a lot of guys that had been to Nam and weā€™re finishing out their enlistments in Europe. Stories were incredible.

Sounds like our OxyContin epidemic of nowadays. A true nightmare that has killed probably millions, destroyed millions of lives, and hurt OH SO MANY children because of their parents addictions. I have personally witnessed the desecration it has caused. Have lost friends and family, and was even on them myself a long while back,( prescribed) took me 4 years to get off of those bastards. They definitely are a miracle drug for cancer patients and such but were given for everything. I have a friend whoā€™s 16 year old son was given them after a tooth extraction! Like come on! I was prescribed them for back pain/muscle spasms and sciatic nerve pain. They worked, almost too well as I could not live without them, next thing you know , I was like ā€œI donā€™t need these anymore, Iā€™ll just smoke lots of honey oilā€ ya right, within 12 -13 hours I was sick, oh so sick and it got worse and worse until I popped another 40mg oxy. That day was a sad sad realization. I was completely f@&!$@.Thank God I have two boys and a wife to live for, or it may have taken everything and ruined me, And it was a complete nightmare getting off. Fast forward 8 years, its still a huge issue EVERYWHERE, and I witness the devastation daily and try and help when and where I can by preaching the good word of CANNABIS and itā€™s endless medicinal qualities. It just works, for almost anything. Just need to find your right strain, and amount of or method of consumption

Ahhh mescaline, I found a giant ziploc bag full to the brim of some crazy pink mescaline in the early 90ā€™s stashed in a metal box , in a hole in a cinder block wall. That was a fun couple of months, and a very profitable one too.
