Sorry I presumed it was a aero cloner you were talking about !
But I did find a diy for 35 dollars close enough

no problem lol I saw where your mistake was.
editā¦ the biggest expense in an aero cloner is the pump, from there itās no biggie.
Iāve made a few of them for under 40-50 bucks though. 20-30 clone set ups.
Do you use airstone / aerator, or pump / misters in your clone box? Airstone for me, but I have misters on an āintermittent mist sandbedā that I use for cloning ornamental plants too. Really should toss a few cuttings in there today and see if they have roots next week. Never saw anybody clone cannabis with the intermittent mist beds beforeā¦ should work thoughā¦
@Qtip ā Ordered Spirit Train f2 but have not yet received! (Toronto)
@Swe-can ā look for tubs on sale, and I found the cheapest foam inserts were on Amazon. Use as many airstones in as you can. I run 2 in a 5L mini cloner and the cuttings NEVER lay down.
@Nagel420 ā I use airstones only and keep the water level JUST below the end of stem line.
I use both in the cloning boxes, also a chiller to keep the water temp right. The pumps I use on that big of a box gives off heat, but needed for that many clones. The manifold is a bitch to build but once done it can be re-used for years.
editā¦ roots in about 10 days
Thatāll blow his budget ROFLā¦ Although I agree. I have a pair of 12" airstones and an Alita AL15 as my airpump. $190 package there (but I have a few for the koi pond here so I just reused, thats expensive for a DIY setup but that pump will never die)
I believe thatās what is called a ābubble clonerā but it works! Thereās quite a few different types and they all seem to work decently.
ahh. no heat to worry about with airstones for me. I used to keep reef aquariums, so I know the heat issue from pumps. Manifolds arenāt too bad (again, 10 years building koi ponds, Iāve built a number of different manifolds). Iāve been toying with the idea of frankensteining something using my mistersā¦ But always been airpumps for cloning (15 liters / minute is a LOT of air )
I like the small 24 site cloner I bought roughly 40 bucks gets you everything you need . Air pump and stone manifold and water pump extra foam discs .
$29.99
= Done
Edit:
If I didnāt have all the materials already on hand (other than the upgrade to the pucks, in the past I had and still have pipe insulation pucks), I would buy a simple setup like that. Takes the guesswork out of it for a newbie / not so mechanically inclined person.
I donāt understand the super high prices on these things at times. Thereās not much to them at allā¦
what kinda labor you got keeping that straw goin? ROFL
Ok folks, Iām having a problem here. I got some Romulan seeds in a trade from someone and canāt find who after going back through my DMsā¦
Anyone know who mightāve had Romulan seeds?
editā¦ The reason I ask is this lol, I germinated all 4-5. One of them went full blown male IN VEGGING! Iāve never known āregularā seeds to do this lol
Didnāt you say they were from @norcalpal??
I have no idea who I traded them from, I went through all my DMs, including @norcalpalā¦
these were supposedly straight Romulan, no cross, and photoperiod, not auto
Iām thinking somehow a seed got mixed in there, and itās been vegging for a couple months and is 3ā tall! lol for it to do that means it isnāt a true auto, but also not a true photoperiod either lol I figure itās a crossā¦
If you ever need to go through your pmās, a quick way to search for them by member is to put this in the search bar
in:personal-direct
And then under advanced search you can put in the members username. It will pop up all the messages youāve had with that specific member.
lol too late! i went through each one from the beginning of my DMs!
I mustāve deleted it somewhere along the line
ok It must be @norcalpal. I see where he had Romulan and Jungle spice and I have had some dealings with him. I donāt see anyone else mention Romulan
