Can’t wait to watch them in flower! They all look real nice.
Day 2 of flower, already starting to see the stretch. I did some light defoliation, a light feeding and watered. I’m seeing 2 possible females, 1 possible male and 1 still not distinguishable. Should know for sure within this next week.
Something a bit different to switch it up from tent shots. This is the latest of my dart frog tadpoles to come onto land, an Azureus. That blue will become much more intense and you can still see the tail hasn’t been fully absorbed yet.
I guess you could say they vegged out as a tadpole for a while and now are ready to flower into the frog they were always meant to be? Crazy how much of life can relate back to cultivating Cannabis, or maybe I’m too ripped lol. Just keeping up the namesake of my account.
Are those dart frogs poisonous? They have a big frog and snake exibit at the zoo we visit. The dart frogs are very cool, and some of colors are just phenomenal!
They normally would be in the wild but in captivity are completely non-poisonous. The poison is gained through ants the frogs consume in the rainforest. When kept as pets (and in zoos too likely) they are fed flightless fruit flies or other small insects.
I could probably find a guy online with a poison ant hookup but I feel like the USDA wouldn’t take too kindly to me importing those…
Cool info! Never knew that before.
Flower day 5 AKA the gender reveal party. Here it goes…
3 of 4 are females! The male is the front left plant which happened to also be the smallest. I got rid of it after these pictures. Tents starting to get a bit of that classic skunk aroma.
Isn’t that crazy. Usually the smaller ones are the females!
Glad you got three females!
Great odds, right? The strain has been super low maintenance to grow so far @Comacus. Stress free experience for sure.
Day 11 of flower, plants are all around 22 inches tall. Thinking about another light defoliation soon.
Looking great interesting strain very uniform plants .
They are really taking off!
Day 13 of flower, plants are about 24 inches tall. Trimmed off a few of the lowest fan leaves from each plant.
This picture was taken with the wide angle lens on my phone, which has better color but distorts the perspective a bit.
Beginning of a pre-flower.
Day 18 of flower. I trimmed a couple lowers off of each plant. Moving along quite well. Thinking about a heavier defoliation next watering.
Not sure if they’ll actually be different phenos or if it’s just by chance, but 1 plant has visibly thicker pistils than the other 2 on all of its flowers.
Just tuned in and those are some beautiful plants - super photogenic. Looks great! Just about to get exciting up in here I can tell. Frosting moving its way out onto the leaves woo woo. Nice squat ladies
Thanks.
Oh yeah, the real fun is just starting.
Looking great! Really taking off.
